When i levelled my Lock in 2005, i didn't realise you needed to use spells, so i practically levelled him 1-20 only in melee with no talents.
Dang...did you like, never play video games before you started WoW? :P

This is my first post here, and I have narrowed down my top 10 Noobish things I have ever done.
1. Deleted all my characters that died when I first started playing WoW because I didn't know how to find my corpse on a map/
2. Picked BS and Alch as professions , and didn't know how to lvl them. (at 4O I switched to lw and skinning lol)
3. Didn't complete the rogue poison skill till 40
4. Wondered how in the hell rogues got to train swords
5. Didn't use ah till around late 30's
6. Ok...this one kills me...lol I bought my first sword from a vendor, and had it enchanted...lma0..not only that I didn't know that one should lvl the weap skill before I took it to places with higher lvl npc's then me.
7. Didn't know till around 40 that a rogue should left click instead of right click target when stealthing to make sapping easier
8. listened to my friend who HATES pvp who insisted I should just lvl with him when I hit 68/69 instead of hitting eos, av...etc to farm epic gear rep. I still kick my self in the @ss for that one..>_>
9. Thought to myself "Well regular ramps are fun and extremly easy.. going to heroics should be a breeze!"
10. Didn't know that distracting before saping (especially in mt) makes a rogues job SOOOOO much easier.

I didn't know mobs in instances didn't chain back. On my first VC run a lot of the group died and one person started running and I was surprised the goblins didn't stop chasing him (were we in the forge place).
For my lvl 40 mount (90g at the time) I thought the gray drops from wolves sold for a lot to a vendor so I got 50g or more from just grinding them in the Badlands.

Running into Duskwood as a lvl 10 mage ^_^
Managed to run into the tunnel from Moonglade to Felwood, and if that wasnt bad enough, i acutaly talked to the spirit guide where i was ported to and accepted her deal. Turns out i was ported to a ress point deep in Felwood xD
And also the most recently stupid thing ive done, you know the bombing run in Isle of Quel'Danas, where u supposed to bomb the mobs i with all the skellys at the scar. First me and a friend tried this we didnt read thro the questtext, so we mounted up and got down there and we tried on one of the mobs and was like,.. wtf.. this is bloody hard, how come its not a 5man quest? ^_ ^ me being a mage and she a priest i nuked em for all i could while she tried to keep me up and out of danger, used all our mana for just one single mob
still gettin reminded of that by guildies

When I first bought the game (day it came out) I ran EVERYWHERE because I wanted to save money instead of spending the 30c per ride LOL

I think everyone bought vendor armor, unless they had someone showing them the ropes and told them not too.
My first character, an orc rogue, didnt get stealth, or any skills for that matter, untill level 8. And at level 5, i signed a guild charter (had no idea what is was, just clicked accept) from someone on a horse. Found the guild tab at level 15 and figured out i was the guild master of <Legion of Dark Squirrels>. Use it for a vault now.

All my noob mistakes have been covered already. Except one.
With two 70's and a 62:
I still get lost in Exodar. Been there many times, still get lost. Went there 2 days ago, my hearth was on CD, couldnt find my way out, had a guildie mage port me out.....sad. I still hear about it.
