The important stats for a newish level 70 warlock are:
spell damage
spell damage
spell damage
and spell damage
If you're whacking things with your staff to take advantage of your strength and agility, you're doing something wrong. ;-) Most likely affliction is fine.
Show us your spec, give us an armory link so we can see your gear, tell us your cast sequence.
