Here's somethings I've used

MACRO 4 "Feed" Ability_Hunter_MendPet
/cast Mend Pet ; Feed Pet
/use put-name-of-food-here
END

MACRO 3 "No Pet" INV_Misc_QuestionMark
/cast call pet; revive pet
END

MACRO 1 "Assist" Ability_Rogue_FindWeakness
/Assist pets-name-here
/cast Hunter's Mark
END

Here's one I don't use but it's an example of castsequence:
MACRO 3 "STING" Ability_Hunter_Quickshot
/castsequence Hunter's Mark, Serpent Sting
END

Oh and you can find the macro files under your chars.name
there macros-cache.txt and macros-local.txt
