Tartonga - It's not that I think that "God will materialise" is a valid theory, it's that I think that "God will materialise" is valid evidence (that can be substantiated by the observation of God) towards the other theory that "God exists".
Anyway, I apologise, but I'm going to have to withdraw myself from this discussion. As you might have noticed by the lengthy gap in between somewhat haphazard replies, I just don't have the time these days to compose the essays I need to respond in a manner that the topic deserves. That goes for most discussions in Off-Topic - if it takes more than a couple of paragraphs to reply, I'm going to have to sit out, until things quieten down in my work / life.

LaVeyan Satanism has some good advice (it's kind of like a narcassistic Humanism), but the whole "disbelief in God but belief in magic" thing is kind of hypocritical. If you believe in magic, why not believe in gods, or unicorns, or The Green Lantern?
Semi-related, when roleplaying in the Warcraftverse, where magic does exist, I like to use LaVeyan Satanism as my model for The Forgotten Shadow, the religion of the Forsaken.
