How would you make the priests the best healing class?

Annoys me that I have rolled a priest under the impression that they are the best class for healing. I always believed that I would be the most called on for raids as my character (along with other priests) would be that great at healing. But in reality, that isnt the case, Priests seem like they have the moderate spells from all healing classes but nothing that makes a tank/dps go wow...
One suggestion I can think of would be mass resurect spell, that would reduce the amount of time a raid has to spend resurecting after a wipe and would give priests the respect they rightfully deserve.
Any other suggestions on making priests the undisputable greatest healing class in wow. Obvisouly if we need to nerf spriests then so beit! xD

how would a mass rez make a priest a better healer?
and tbh, i will try everything in my power to make sure i never even dream of using a mass rez.
not sure if its the same to you guys but wipes are bad imo.
right now, good preists make people say wow and bad ones make the good ones look even better, thats all their is to it. every class has this problem so i've learned to get over it.
who needs to be the best class?
i'm the best because im damn good at what i do, not because of my class.

Priests are already best healing class, hands down!

If u expect just standing there throwing ur healing spells arround the raid
getting max score on meters ... then u shouldnt be playing a priest!

I'm seeing a lot of this "priests aren't a good healing class" today and it's mind-boggling. But then, I don't usually hang out on WoW forums (I like this one *waves*) so I often don't see much WoW-related discussion beyond actual WoW in-game chat. So... are people playing with a bunch of rotten priests or what? I can see that being the case, but for actually rolling one and thinking they're not a good healer... hmm, as opposed to what? I seriously dislike my druid for healing, but then he's feral spec. That's what I made him for: dps.
In regards to the actual subject of this thread: I'd make priests better by cutting down on cast times for heals, and the mana required for heals. But then I spent most of my MMO life on EverQuest, which... lol... well, they had the healer class right at any rate. WoW players are quite spoiled compared to those of us who played EQ and games with the same kind of setup. But that comes down to mechanics. "Complete Heal" was necessary for EQ. It's not an issue in WoW.
But then, back in EQ a warrior with a good healer could run under 30% hp so he'd be in "berserker mode" and get tons of crits, and the priest could keep him alive without him dying or going over 30% hp. But eh, I shouldn't railroad this topic lol.
"Priests aren't a good healer class".... Priests are the best, on paper at any rate (can't do anything about the player lol)... unless you wanna get into the resto druid versus holy priest argument. Which I don't. xD
