The group I run with has this down to a science. Have someone(healer is usually best) keep an eye on the heads and alert when they start doing stuff( the bomb, laser, etc.) make sure that your tank leaves an AoE down in the choke point if he ever has to leave it(consecrate or death and decay). Keep your ranged dps spread out so you don't all get zapped by one unlucky laser. After that its just a matter of keeping the tank and dps alive.
Group make up is Prot Pally, Holy pally(me), Mage, Hunter, DK

I did this as an enhancement shaman with a resto druid, surv hunter, ret paladin, and an unholy DK. Like what was written above, the tank needs to AoE tank at the choke point and that'll let whoever can AoE do their thing (you should have seen our paladin's divine storm 0.o). The tricky part is watching when the casters come out, they need to be taunted and killed quickly, I think they do the most dmg to Brann too. Of course you also have to watch out for the laser of death in the last phase. Our tank was very well geared and I knew we had high dps but staying at the choke we managed to get the achievement too.

This isn't helpful at all, but just a story to let you know that it's not just you having problems with this.
I was in a group with a pally tank, and we steamrolled four heroics in a row before coming to HoS. Then we wiped 4 times in a row on this event. The only reason we were able to finish the instance is that the event finished itself after a wipe somehow.
So yeah, even a good group can repeatedly wipe here. :(

That's your problem, resto shamans suck for that event because they can't cure dark orbs, you the prot pally need to constantly cleanse them from yourself or avoid them or you WILL wipe.

The resto shaman
shouldn't
have to cure the dark orbs if your group is competent enough to move away from them.
Personally my group when we did it just aoe tanked all the adds at the stairs, I'd drop a frost trap to help and then I'd just volley them down while calling out dark orbs. It can be done without 3 aoe classes as long as your melee classes focus fire off the tank and move out of the fire laser thing and the dark orb.
Hey, I've done H HoS plenty, but I'm just saying its harder than it is with a dispel. Yes, you have to move, that's harder than just taking the orbs and dispelling them.

Did this event with a Holy Priest and myself (Holy Pally) as healers. The Priest healed the party and I kept Brann alive and did DPS when I could. We had a Pally Tank, Hunter and Rogue. Worked very well and went off without a hitch. The trick is to keep ol' Brann alive so if you can get two healers it works great!
