There is no honor is living your last moments frozen with fear because a gay guy is making a move on you/rolls eyes Yes, because all gay guys really want straight men.

No, but that is what 'facing my homphobia' woud entail.

I renamed the thread to maybe keep the discussions going in new directions.

You would die with honor.
There is no honor is living your last moments frozen with fear because a gay guy is making a move on you or a spider is crawling on you.
Homophobia is really an inaccurate word. Most people who are "homophobic" aren't really afraid of homosexuals. Those that are, though, are literally suffering from a psychological condition and should seek treatment.
I don't mean that as an insult; one of my good friends in high school was a severe acrophobic and it was a disorder that disrupted the normalcy of her life numerous times. She eventually went through a combination of therapies for it, and while she still is afraid of heights, it's not a crippling issue like it originally was.

The major problem is, I can't aford a therapist, nor will I be able to in the near future.
I am deathly afraid of insects as well.

That's because insects are devilzombienazis. It's good to be afraid of them, avoid them or die pretty much.
Gays arn't as bad.
I think some people think we're devilzombienazis too =P

Atik, if somebody you are not interested in "makes a move" on you, and that really makes you that anxious, you need to see a doctor. I've had people of both sexes, that I wasn't interested in, do the same, and I politely declined the invitation, and took it as a compliment. No need to get in a fluster over it!
It honestly freaks me the hell out.
And once again, I can't afford a therapist.

If we're looking for exceptions to the exoskeleton rule, I will have to point out that a lot of females have a thing for Garrus in the Mass Effect series. Well maybe not a LOT, but enough to make a presence on the Bioware forums and Deviant art.
