I'm watching the whole documentary now, and I starting to cry again. How people can hate so much is beyond me. Just talking to the regular people in the streets of Uganda, they want homosexuals to be hanged. Hanged!I know, it's disgusting. How people can hate other people who haven't hurt anyone is beyond me.
Depends on what you mean by hurt.
In their eyes, homosexuals could very well be hurting them by attempting to alter their preferred way of life.And that merits a hanging?

I accually wouldn't know. It's just one of those 'myths' that float about that is good for a laugh.
Keeping this back on topic. As for my veiw on homosexuality, I veiw it like I do with any form of sexual activity. In that if you enjoy it and it stimulates you. Then go for it.
I've personally got no issues with it morally either. Most of the arguements for being against homosexuality seem to stem from either beliefs, or fears.

Hey, did you know that when Pride was here in Slovakia, there were more nazi homophobes demonstrating than actual homosexuals on the parade? I think the police ended it prematurely to prevent a riot. Patriotism my ass, not much to be proud of about my nation.

Imo homosexually is an imperfection, at the end of the day all that love you share with another person is biologically done for one reason to spread your genes on, the emotions between homosexuals can't lead to the passing off of genes because 2 men cannot conceive a child. Biologically speaking homosexuality defeats the entire purpose of having a relationship or feeling love. Thus it is an imperfection, I'm not talking about society or peoples views on it I'm talking about it from a basic biological standpoint
Biologically speaking, homosexuals didn't lose the capability to breed. They just chose not to. Being sterile, that's an imperfection.

Are you implying that the choices made can classify the perfection of a biological subject? I don't see the relation between the choices someone makes and perfection, biologically speaking. And I don't see how you are refuting my argument yet.

Arguably, being predisposed to murder indiscriminately, in and of itself, is an imperfection. Someone who is predisposed to being a homosexual is so due to his / her biological state, and could therefore be considered an imperfection.

From what I can see the only reasons homosexuality is being considered for the status of imperfection is that it doesn't lead to reproduction. I'd just like to say that being gay has absolutely no effect on my desire to have children. Of the several ways for me to "have" children, I would definitely consider one of them when I'm ready for children. If this was 200 years ago and a man was the only way to have a child, I would even go for that if my partner was comfortable with it. I may not be attracted to men, but I'm not scared or opposed straight sex in any way. And I would love to have a child.

Out of curiousity, is it significantly harder for gay couples to adopt and/or gain permission to artificially inseminate (is that the correct term?) where you live? Are you likely to run into difficulties should you one day decide to have a child?

Adoption varies state by state. Here in Florida gays can't do anything in that regard. Back in Alabama it's perfectly fine to petition for adoption either as a single mother or as a couple. It really depends on what state I end up in. And artificial insemination is perfectly legal, but it can get pretty expensive if it doesn't take the first or second time, they charge for each round.
