I do not know where to begin, but since work is slow today:
Tank:
Looks great to me.
Healer:
Very, very undergeared. Using a TON of gear well below 80 that could have been easily replaced just by quest gear (trinkets, mace, etc, etc). Spell-power, crit, MP5 all low for heroics.
Mage DPS:
Yikes. I have him logged off as Arcane (59/0/12) and in a lot of the cloth-crafted PvP gear. I hope this is not what he specs and wears on your heroics. Frostfire is far, far, far, far away a better spec. And that craftable PvP gear is terrible. No enchants. Horribad trinkets.
Shadow Priest:
Fine. Undergeared a bit, but is at least hit capped and going in the right direction.
Ret:
Logged out almost entirely in the craftable PvP Ret gear. Just not good at all for heroics (a lot of wasted itemization points on Resilence). A lot of upgrades available simply from quest gear. Seems to be in the right direction, though. Should think about picking up Kings if this is indeed the five-man group he runs with often, as it will significantly help the tank out.
All I can say is...if your DPS is honestly only pushing 1k dps, this is awful. The Ret pally should be doing much more than that, even with all the resilence. The tank is far and away the best geared with the healer and Mage fighting for least geared. Just run some level 80 normals and the easier heroics, get the easy upgrades (emblems, etc) and reputation items.

The holy pally should have picked up a whole load of nice L70 blue rep items (Argent Crusade, Ebon Blade etc). Having said that, he's specced well (sacrifices a lot of crit for BoK though... would make more sense for your retadin or even protadin to pick it up) and should be ok in heroics as long as he knows how to play. It does look a lot like he totally skipped the level 78-80 content though.
Tank - fine.
DPS: - as Inertius says. Some spec issues with both the mage and Retadin, and the retadin needs to get out of PvP gear.
Berelain brings up a good point that I missed explicitly stating - the Holy Pally should not have BoK. It is much easier, efficient, and not as wasteful if the Ret paladin picks it up rather than the holy or prot paladin.

I'm actually the holy pally listed in that group. I will say that with only hitting 80 1 week ago i'm still on my way to gaining more gear. I'm using the gear listed in the sticky here but still need to run the level 80 instances and farm rep for other items from the kirin tor, frenzy heart, sons of hidir and argent crusade but those only come with time.
As for the kings i could not agree more but it's been asked from the guild i'm in that i spec in kings rather then the extra 3 points in ret for 3% crit
Thanks for all the advice so far
I should say then: you are most certainly on the right track. I would politely tell your guild that the Ret Paladin should probably be picking up Kings as the Crit is huge for you, but, that doesn't always work out so well.
No real critiques based on the gear you have. Upgrades should be plentiful for you. Keep things enchanted and gemmed and you're on your way.

I say this alot, even to my own guildies..
1. get a feel for all the dungens and replace alot of your old gear along the way.
(by 75 and 76 at least half of your 70 epics can be replaced depending on the quality of the gear T4 and craftable T5 get ditched pretty quick...T6 has more staying power but should be replaced eventually when upgrades come around, don't be afraid of replacing a 70 epic with an 80 blue)
2. do the reg. lvl 80 instances until you all have the gear and REP you need for very nice upgrades.
Even honored on some factions give you a nice boost.
3. once most of your gear is lvl 187 you are about ready for heroics, but work on the easy ones 1st.
Start with UK > Nexus > VH
I personally find CoS and UP to be easy sauce as well but thats just me.
Once you farm the easier heroics, get some badge loots and replace gear. Craftable gear is good IF it has the right stats, the spriest had the ebonweave robe which is a start. Both casters, even with talents are way below hit rating needed. 17% hit is needed for raids for sure, but I'd say get as close to hit capped as possible for heroics to run smooth. Maybe somewhere between 12-14%. This is doable, my lock is about 10% hit rating atm at lvl 79 and i already have a list of questable, rep, and craft gear to get me over 300 hit rating and then another list of heroic gear to get me to hit capped.
Tell both casters to ditch the res gear unless they plan on fighting the opposite faction in heroics....wait they sorta do...in nexus heroic -.- jk
Tank, get def capped. Or close to it. 530 ~ 535
Heals look decent but I'm not a guru on holy healers :P
Heals can get upgrades by using
Titansteel Guardian
with 50+ spello pwr

That's all well and good. A good, good suggestion for any up and coming Holy Paladin is to go Frenzyheart, as there are two very nice pieces once you hit Revered. Keep in mind that it does take several days of the dailies to get to Revered, but the dailies are simple.
I should point out that the Shadow Priest, as I had indicated, is most certainly hit capped, especially for heroics. But yeah, the mage is...well, Frostfire. Just tell him...Frostfire. And lots of hit.
Great suggestion on the Titansteel Guardian. Although it is getting slightly (and justifibly) nerfed in 3.0.8, it's bar none the best healing mace outside of raiding Naxx.
Good luck mate.

The Spriest w/ talents is sitting at only 12% hit which is doable for heroics but he is not "hit capped", still needs 108 more hit to be capped. Misery would add 3% more hit only when its up still leaving him shy of 2% hit. ...but yeah mage needs way better gear/spec.
To help OP and others, check out
be.imba.hu
it can really help decide where you are and what needs improvements.
*The mace in nexus is godly, I know I farmed 4 days and it finally dropped. The guardian is for those who want an epic without having to "roll the dices"... and if you have a boomkin, priest or elem shammy in ur grp your chances decline at winning this roll.

If you are going to spec with kings still (which I am a strong advocate of since I prefer to bring my own HP buff for the tank than get screwed when noone has it), then I would go with this spec:
51/5/15
I like Imp Judgements to help me pass out that crit effect from Heart of the Crusader faster, but you can put those points into Imp Might as I think you already lean towards.
The only wiggle room in the holy tree is if you want to have Imp Wisdom+1/2 Imp LoH or Imp Conc Aura, otherwise everything else should be set in stone.
The +3 crit you'd have to dump kings for might help you the worse your gear is, but once you get up to certain point, I don't think it will be as useful as the extra hp on your tank or the extra mana you gain if you cast it on yourself. I personally prefer tank with more health than 3% more crit.

Please re-read what I said. The Shadow Priest is hit-capped for
heroics
. The highest boss is level 82 in heroics. He is absolutely hit-capped for that.
