mana in heroics =/= mana in raids :)
i have a little over 11k spirit unbuffed and and am just getting comfortable with my mana.
price of progress gives the most MP5 with some decent static spell power.
fruit barrel is the only one of the three that boosts mana tide and it has reasonable uptime on a strong spell power proc.
vial is the weakest, imo - decent static spell power but the worst MP5 of the bunch.

when you start raiding; it's very, very good. i have a feeling it's going to last a loooong time, especially with upgrade capabilities.
regarding LFR, most MV fights only require 2-3 good healers, and they budget six so you'll be fine.

Pick up the trinket from the new pvp zone in Karasang. It was pretty decent +int with on use spirit buff. I saw it at alli camp but I can't see them not implementing same items for both factions
