Hemorrhage vs shiv

hemorrhage as a less energy spell for rogue by using 35 ...
but my shiv just using 33 energy.... so... i wanna know which spell is better to use in this case?

Since they are two ability that does two completely different things I say: Use both, I don't know but I guess that poison damaged isn't increased if the target is effected Hemmorhage which would mean that it could be better to frist use Shiv, then Hemo - Depends on your poisons to I guess.

Hemo is a primary attack, shiv is a utility attack used to apply poisons in PVP.

Shiv energy cost is based on your weapon speed.

I did the maths with talents and the diff is alot smaller, Hemo only give 0.34 more DPE.

* 1.2
408.429 *1.2
490,1148 / 35
14 DPE

{{ * 75} + (170 * 1.2) } * 1.1
(230.946 + 204) * 1.1
478,4406 / 35
13.66 DPE

But with a more realistic amount of AP...

* 1.2
597 *1.2
716.4 / 35
20.47 DPE

{{ * 75} + (170 * 1.2) } * 1.1
(230.946 + 204) * 1.1
634.01 / 35
18.11 DPE

... the difference become 2.36 DPE and if you add Hemo de/buff (depend for who) Hemo > Shiv even more until they add a way to make poison damage to scale with gears (beside +nature damage lol)

But we would have to consider in the calculatation Combat Potency

You can have fun with Shiv by putting deadly on your OH and then shiving up to envenom. I have thought of trying this in 2v2 Arena, saving my blind for the CC target so deadly poison is usable, especially for warrior/paladin targets
