west = alliance and east = horde in ashenvale

Although there's also a small Horde outpost in the western shore with a few quests. Arguably one of, if not the most annoying walk in the whole game, for Horde at least.

My point was that Ashenvale is NOT a reccomended place for horde, as there are not many horde quests there.
