Still smiling his small little smile, Samuel passed over the bandages to the girl. Once she took them, he rested his arms across a knee in a more comfortable position. "You must take better care of yourself," he softly chided. "There's far too many people who don't take such good care of their pokemon out there already."
The Scizor watched the meditite hopp about with something approaching bemusement, his carapace making other emotional demonstrations somewhat difficult.

Pelting through the gate, Cynis flung himself around the corner of one of the drab brown and grey buildings which flanked the entrance into town. "Oh crap oh crap oh crap!"

Samuel smiled and chuckled benignly, his eyes still closed as though he were meditating on her words. "I'll try. Hmm...What if I say, instead, that far too many people see pokemon as tools, even servants, rather than equals. Friends, perhaps, is best." He turned his eyes closed eyes to the meditite once more as the Scizor reached out a pincer and patted the fighting pokemon on the head. "So few people have respect for pokemon. And its because of this that they can so easily hurt them."

Yowling, the Liepard followed Cynis around the corner, eyes ringed red with anger born of sickness, watching as the youth rounded yet another corner. Had the pokemon been more lucid, it might have wondered at the scraping sound it heard moments before it too turned the corner.
Pain exploded in the side of its head. Staggering, through blurring vision, the Liepard saw the thin youth pause in the backswing of thin corkscrewed piece of metal, his eyes wide with hyper awareness, and something crossed between a smile and a grimace on his lips. Something cawed and fell on its back, razor sharp talons tearing into its fur. The feline pokemon yowled, now in pain, and tried to dodge as the metal came back about, but only managing to stumble.

"But...well, call it a hunch," Samuel implied, tilting his head towards Alice. "But I have a feeling that you really respect your pokemon. And such respect," he smiled affectionately, "is what you need."

Kay, hearing a commotion along Route 2, had decided to sneak past it, and arrived, after a last sprint, to Striaton. The trainer, walking around, saw the girl with the Meditite, and decided to approach. Kay noticed the bandages, and said: "Hey, are you all right?" The dragon tamer-to-be looked at the man beside her, and said: "Hi, the name is Kay. I met Alice back at the Pokémon Ranch, but stayed behind to train my Pokémon. Just caught up after sprinting for quite a while to catch up."

Robin arived to the city gates without any encounter with the rabid Liepard. A quick nod to the gate-keeper and the young lady made her way into the City of Striaton, home a the butler gym leaders.

Nodding sagely, Samuel exhaled slowly. "It truly is. But," he added, rising to his feet, smiling gently, "we can stop that. Let no one ever tell you otherwise."

Jogging past the gate, Felicia slowed and shot her eyes about with a scowl, still cradling her wounded arm. "Where is she..." the girl growled as Leonardo hurried after her.

"I could ask Sky here to scout from the sky. But i'm more curios where that Liepard went." She said in a pondering monologish maner. Sky th pidgey landed shortly on her shoulder as Robin slowed down and said his name.

"Ah," Samuel plucked at the tabard, "yes, this. It is a uniform for a movement I am a part of. I suppose you might think of us as...advocates for Pokemon rights," he said kindly.
The Scizor cracked open its pincer, revealing a cube of pokemon candy.

Felicia grabbed the front of her hat and pulled it over her face. There was a sound of muffled screaming from beneath the hat. Breathing deeply, she slowly pulled the cap back. "Okay," she began softly, making a calming gesture. "Okay. I'm...I'm sorry. I am just under a lot of stress right now. And have been very...very...annoyed." Taking a slow, deep breath, she turned to the bird pokemon. "Sky, please, I would really appreciate it if you could find that girl so I could get an apology."

"Oh damn, oh damn, oh damn," the ranger panted, sprinting around the corner of the building. He skidded to a stop, eyes wide.
Cynis was leaning against the wall of the building, breathing heavily and loosely holding a corkscrewed piece of metal. Several flecks of blood was on the ground, and a Murkrow was settled upon a box, pecking at something between its talons.
"What...what happened?" the ranger asked as he slowly approached the youth.
"Hm?" Cynis looked up. "Oh! Hey. What's going on?"
"That's what I'd like to ask," the ranger said, slowly approaching the trainer, eyes darting about for some sign of a threat. "Where'd the liepard go?"
"Oh. Haha, yeah, that. I must of," he shrugged, "scared it off. Yeah, I'm pretty much the best thing ever right now."
"But, it was sick. Looked like...rabies, or something."
"Well damn man," Cynis cried, slowly standing. "The hell are you doing here? There's a rabid pokemon out there! Who knows where it is! You gotta find it! Before it bites some young crippled child with a lisp named Jimmy." Grabbing, the man's shoulders Cynis shoved him towards the town. "Run man! Find the police! Pokemon control! Somebody! Fly man! Fly!"
Stumbling, the ranger fled towards the direction of town, casting several uncertain looks back at the thin young man.
Waving farewell, Cynis watched as the ranger fled into town. "Yes, that's right," he said beneath his breath as he drew something from his belt. "Go find your snipe. I think," he said with a dark grin at the previously empty pokeball, "that it will take some time to."

"I'm fine just...Rnnn so frustrating," she seethed, curling her hands into fists before her. "I mean, wouldn't a no do? But guess not, she had to slap my mic. I mean who does that? I asked a simple question."

With a last smile, Samuel nodded. "Good. Now, I should probably be off." He laughed. "I've likely spent far more time than I should have here already." Giving a slight nod to the meditite, he said, "Take care of yourselves," then waved farewell as he moved to depart with the Scizor close behind.

"Who's going to help Rocky?" Zach asked as they stopped before a training ring at the school. Tony reached for a pokeball on his belt and activated it causing a lucario to appear before the two trainers. "Wow." Tony said in awe as he approached the pokemon with Rocky.
"Lucario. This is my little brother Zach and his pokemon Rocky." Tony said and Lucario stepped forward causing Zach and Rocky to freeze in place as the pokemon walked around the two. After a few seconds he stopped and nodded towards Tony before he turned back to Zach and Rocky.
"What was that?" Zach asked still not moving.
"He was judging your aura to see if you were a good person." Tony said. "So you think you can help Rocky here learn metal claw?" He asked and Lucario nodded before waving Rocky to follow him into the ring.
