Anybody know if the "special" NPCs show up in Cata? Like

As of right now, it looks like we're stuck with the tabard, but beta is beta, so they might add one in the future.
Thanks for the heads up. I've been farming Cenarion Circle reputation up to exalted recently, and as a result I have quite a large amount of Runecloth stashed away. Oh well, at least it'll be useful for levelling tailoring on a future alt.

You can only cap out at 4k justice points at the moment. You also won't be able to use the bow/gun till 85; not sure why you would bother saving now.

or something. You could have just looked at the Cataclysm site here, and checked under both guns and bows, but I'll be nice and link the actual list for you. Don't forget to click the level requirement button so all the 80+ bows/guns go to the top.
Again though: Once the expansion drops, you more then likely won't be raiding ICC anymore, so it's a moot point as again, the new good gear items would not be available till 85 off the vendor, same as the good gear is not buyable off the current vendors till you hit 80.

What is the general leveling direction for low level toons? It seems like night elves, draenei, and worgen all get funneled into one general direction. It also seems like tauren, trolls, and orcs all get stuck in the same place also.

In Dun Morogh; you do the Dwarf/Gnome starting areas, head for Kharanos, do the new quests, end it at the Ironforge airport, then head into the city itself for the finale. After that, your choice.
Not sure what it is for the others though.

Tauren players get sent to Garrosh in Orgrimmar after they've finished the final event with the Grimtotem, and then they're free to choose between Barrens or Azshara. (or Silverpine or Ghostlands if you'd want to)
It's pretty much the same for the rest of the races.
