I have a small question and probably a request at once.

I am interested if any changes are being applied to belf and space goat starting areas. From what blizzard says I understand there are not going to be touched by cataclysm when it comes to overall look and quest lines. Still I was wandering if they will get all those extra bonus features like mailbox near starting points or new quest rewards (white ^&*! for lvl 8 quests god help me). Can anyone make a trip and check if any of those things are present in the beta atm?

If anyone would I'd most appreciate that :)

From what I've seen so far the only new stuff in the TBC races' starter zones are mailboxes in the starter zones and the addition of warrior trainers for the blood elves. :-/

hey just a question since fury warriors are getting the 2 different high end talents at the moment is blizzard looking at doing that to the others specs and classes?

Frost DK also have a Two-handed weapon talent called Might of the Frozen Wastes in the same tier of Threat of Thassarian.

Hmm thats a shame because i thought it was quite an interesting way to diversity the different specs in the classes. because i would have love to have seen what else they would have done if they took that aproach as you could have had for example a BM hunter who could have the exotic pet or have the option of having 2 pets out but not exotic or something like that.

It's only for fury warriors as far as I know, to add some customization. A lot of people (me included) weren't very fond of Titan's Grip. :-p They're adding strength onehanders for DW DKs and single minded fury-warriors as well.

How does single minded fury compare to TG damage wise if you don't mind me asking?

Don't really have any way of testing that out myself right now I'm afraid :-/ There aren't any working addons for the beta so can't check DPS, and my warrior on there doesn't have any strength onehanders available right now.

I'm sure that's going through a lot of tuning though so wouldn't be surprised if numbers are off for Single-minded fury.

Given the fact that RP gets very important now, which skills produce RP, and how much? Also, does HB from Rime also produce RP?

almost all skills produce RP, today the formula is: if it's a 1rune skill, it produces 10 RP untalented. and if it consumes 2 runes or more, it produces 15 RP untalented.

this has been boosted to 15 if the skill is 1runed, and 25 if 2runed, untalented of course, Chill of the grave boosts this to furthermore, and the RP bonus generator of Frost's mastery and frost presence modifier boost it furthermore. as a result, there are cases in wich u can use obliterate and it puts your RP from 0 to 50 xD

and yes, the free HB's from Rime also produce RP, but not 25 like today, HB is now a single-rune skill on cata, so untalented and without the modifiers from the presence and the mastery it produces 15 RP now.

I think is a fair asumption to say that frost DK's have WAY MORE Rp than they could posibly spend in 2 lifetimes. a single Obli will put you at 50% capacity, and the bloodstrike following it will leave you at 80% or more, any rune that procs from Runic empowerment will further add RP to the bar, and the free Hb's too.

Do flight paths still annoyingly take you to ever link in the chain or do they finally fly in a more general direction? Yeah hardly anyone will be using it but it saves a lot of time for those who do.

bro' flightpaths still save a lot of time, because they tend to fly at 400% or even 500%, no matter how many turns it gives, its still faster to use'em. If u're in Icecrown, and fly manually to howling fjord, it's slower than just going to the shadow vault and take a flightpath to howling fjord.

ditto for azeroth. if u're in moonglade and wanna go to tanaris, I bet you 50 bucks that flying there on a flightpath is faster than flying there yourself, even if u have the 310% training. because 500%>310%

Has anyone run any BGs? Have things in the new 81-85 bracket received buffs?

Specifically I'm thinking of things like the demolishers in Strand of the Ancients -- if the demos in the 81-85 bracket have substantially more health I might be able to finally get Not Even a Scratch finished.

Could you be more specific? Which bug? If you're talking about the pally kodos mentioning above they were all-green on the parts which are yellow now, back when their models were datamined.

The epic kodos are going to look like the one in the image I linked.
