Death Lover

; they have similar face structures lol.
We will see. Still makes me wonder what happened to Red skull?
If he was sucked into a Cube, probably enjoying the Fourth as it completely dominates the world. He'll come back at some point, you'll just have to wait for it.
I hope not, that ressurection crap is what makes me hate superhero comics after a while. Everybody who dies comes back eventually.
Jean Grey, Peter Parker, Jean Grey, Victor Von Doom, Jean Grey, Steve Rogers, Jean Grey, Thor, Jean Grey, etc etc.
Its like that show Supernatural, every character in that show has died and come back like three times, it stuff like that makes death lose its meaning.

See....you're making some assumptions there lol: 1. That the Red Skull actually 'died' at the end of First Avenger, and 2. That what happens when you get touched by the Power Cosmic actually kills you.
As for your examples:
Jean Gray: First 'resurrection' wasn't a true resurrection as it was a combination of a clone and the Phoenix force making a body while the real Jean was in suspended animation. 2nd resurrection was an actual back from the dead. 3rd time was the Phoenix Force again.
Parker: He's undergone 'mystical' transformations which seemed to kill him, but merely evolved him. His clones also don't count, as a lot of them died first.
Doc Doom: Master of Magic and Science...pretty much any time Doom 'died' it was a Doom-bot; they hang lampshades on it at this point. His one 'true' death was a way to slip out of the Mephisto Clause holding his mother's soul captive.
Steve Rogers: I'll give you that one.
Thor: God, in a never ending cycle of death and live that rules over his culture, so while he 'died' it's not true death since cycle keep having him reborn.
Unlike DC, Marvel is 'more' careful on the revolving door of Life and Death...but as seen in Blackest Night, all those DC deaths were needed for the second greatest crisis to ever hit the DC universes.

I know that theres always a reason for it, or the character just turns out not to be dead. But it still has the same effect, every time a character dies now (for example Wasp in Secret Invasion) I just kind of go "meh, theyll be back in a year or so". It ruins what are meant to be emotional plot points. Didnt they even bring Gwen Stacy back a while ago?
As far as the Red Skull goes admitadly he might not be dead, but I just fealt like it would be cheesy to bring him back. The endless villain who never gets put down and keeps comming back is kind of a cliche too, makes me wonder why Batman hasnt just snapped the Jokers neck at this point since he always just strolls out every time he gets locked up in Arkham.

I think Ruffalo is probably the best Hulk out of the most recent three.

Idk how the Red Skull would be out there in space, and he has absolutley no buisness being the boss of anybody who could threaten Loki. Plus the line about courting Death makes it pretty obvious its Thanos.
I just remembered that Red Skull was sucked into the Tessarakt (Cube) in the end of Captain America Movie and that was sort of unsatisfying end for him. And it was dark, and he looked awfully a lot like Skull
But, time will show me thinks.
It's been confirmed by a few different sources that it was, in fact,
Thanos

Well everybody entitled to their opinion... but yours is wrong.
Let me explain. I do agree that Mark Ruffalo played a good Bruce Banner. I also think that this Hulk had a better part than any of the previous ones. But that osnt because of Ruffalo, the Hulk was so good because of the situations the writers and director put him in (slamming Loki around, etc.)
Honestly Norton was better (IMO at least, I was joking when I said your opinion was wrong, quality in these terms really is a matter of opinion).
EDIT: I still dont think thats the Skull at the end talking to Thanos, he really was talking about the earth like he had never been there. I could be wrong though.

Batman doesn't kill; it's really that simple, and Joker enjoys taunting him about that. As for the Skull; he's the villain who has spent the most time with the Cosmic Cube, and knows the most about it's working: He keeps coming back because of that and because he's the 'ultimate' foil for Captain America...hell, he once told Steve that he's the actual perfect human that the Nazi's wanted and tells him that he's training up his new soldiers to worship Steve as proof the ideal exists.
And it's possible it was him at the end: If he was phrasing things to make the Death Lover make a new thought on how to conqueror the planet.

Yea and in the real world where people stay locked up that makes sence. But after like 70 years of the Joker constantly breaking out of Arkham and going on a new murder spree, it makes Batmans refusal to just put him down seem kind of self righteous and down right pussified...

I guess when you put it like that it makes sence, still dont like the idea of him threatening Loki. But if he has a certain big purple nihilist in his pocket it could happen.

So this is a bit off-topic from Ghostbusters, but since this is the general movie thread: can anyone rec me some campy horror and/or thriller films from the 90s-00s?
I'm REALLY into serial killer movies and I am starting to feel like I've seen them all. Ones like Se7en and Silence of the Lambs clearly stand out as classics, but even bad ones like House of Wax entertain me. I've just gotten to the point where I can never find any anymore to watch. I finally started watching Netflix ones for the off-beat ones with good stars that never made much (for some reason Robert Downey Jr is in three of the ones I watched last week)..
I mean, I've even watched Wrong Turn because I was that desperate for a cheap flick to watch. And I kind of liked it. So far the only ones I've had to turn off because they were so bad have been Child's Play 4+ (Bride of Chucky et all, so bad) and The Hitcher remake (really, really dumb).
what about the Jack the Ripper one with Johnny Depp from a few years ago?

You know Norton declined the role and told them to give it to Ruffalo right?

Someone said that the only problem with Ruffalo that Norton being thinner was farther away from Hulk physically, making difference more drastic...
I saw Avengers today and have to say I liked Ruffalo in the role. Whether he was better or worse than Norton as Banner is a case of personal taste but I did think Ruffalo was a good choice. He just seems so friendly and gentle that its a funny change when he becomes the Hulk. Overall, the movie was better than I expected and had a nice balence between the different heroes. I am expecting them to come out with at least two more of them.

I hear #2 is already in the works. But they are going to do the same movie build up with Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 etc etc.
I am just waiting to see how long it takes for a Justice League movie to appear.

I'm sure it is and that Marvel will focus on the Avengers and its members for most of their upcoming movies other than Spiderman. I think they(dc and marvel along with the movie studios) have learned their lesson in trying to get blockbusters out of lesser known comic heroes. I think it will be a steady diet of batman, spiderman, avengers etc for the next 3-4 years. I do think they should continue to use an overarching theme in the Avengers solo movies that ties into the Avengers movies and makes the plot more interesting which is sort of what they did by using elements from capt america and Thor in Avengers.

Idk if that will ever happen, every DC comics movie besides Batman has sucked massive ammounts of ass.

I agree on that. Most of the Batman movies I would also say sucked until the C Nolan ones came out. I don't know much about the dc universe so can't really say what other heroes would translate well to the big screen from it.
