wondering how many ppl really playing this game and how many moved away recently
it seems that the only remaining players are the ones who play this game for long time and new players go and play other games
correct me if im wrong but waiting as healer lvl70 is long right?

That's based on the time of the day, and how many other healers are queued up; since the addition of monks, there are now 5(technically 6 since Priests have two heal specs) healing classes all leveling and trying for the same dungeon queues.
The game is once again at 10 million subs, so it's not dead by any stretch.

First off, why did you made 2 threads about the same thing?
Secondly, no, the game isn't dead, quite the opposite, its more alive than ever.
Third: Newer players join every day, just yesterday my guild invited 3 new players who started playing as of this expansion, and depending on how things go IRL, I may be able to invite 2 new players to the game by December.

I've just come back after a six month break or so, was a bit on and off in Cata, but the game seems as vibrant now as it was in large parts of Wrath, so if anything I would say it's making a comeback.

Its basically the same game its always been with some improvements and some things that seem better or worse than prior expansions(namely the dungeons/raids which play such an integral part to the endgame). Some people still enjoy it and pay for a monthly sub while others have moved on to other games. Some people do move on and decide the game is terrible and dead though and want to convince everyone who still plays to agree with them and stop playing.

I just started playing a few months ago and have been seeing lots of ppl. And I do enjoy most aspects of it. I don't know what makes you think it's dead... unless you're just bored. If that's the case, maybe YOU should move on to something else.

I think he was making fun of the fact that people have been saying the game was dead for 8 years when it's not. I don't think he was ACTUALLY saying it was dead.
