I have 152 hit rating and full s1 gear and in battle ground 17/44 rocks, I'm not using a 2h intentionally I'm just saving up for my second one hander but im finding that it still works pretty good, has anyone else tried this?
Edit: I'm thinking of trying this build at one point with a two hander, any thoughts on how this would go down in pvp?

It's not bad in terms of damage output. It should roll in BG. Keep in mind that many players in BGs are not properly equipped or "properly" specced for PVP - so many of them come in with little to no resilience (except for going up against Premades of course). So it's not the BEST way to measure how effective that spec is for PVP in Arena or 1v1 duels.
Bloodthirst is about equivalent to Mortal Strike in damage without the healing debuff (Depending on your gears and buff). With that much hit rating, it means you will hardly miss using a 2Hander weapon.
Keep in mind that going that route will rob you of a few essential PVP talents like Second Wind, Improved Hamstring, and Improved Intercept. Not to mention the Weapon Specialization...
It seems like you are determined to try Fury for PVP. No one is stopping you from trying. Let us know the results. I'd recommend teaming up with a rogue for Arena.

Btw you said I will hardly miss with a 2h? I can't miss with a 2h because 147 hit rating + 3points in precision means you can't miss a level 73.
Even dual wielding I can't miss, unless it's a parry/dodge, right?

Yes that's what I mean. I'd love to try Fury for PVP, but my team refuses to let me (RL friends). So let me know what your results are.

That sucks, I hear people find it really fun even if they lose, but yeah I'll let you know how things turn out, I'm teaming up with a sub rogue when I do try arena though.
Pop reckless with mongoose enchanted proc on both weapons + flurry = love.

I really think, if anything, blizz should put deathwish and improved intercept higher up the arms tree so pure arms and fury warriors can still use it.

They should just move it back to original place, pre-2.3. Almost all arena warriors are running variations of 33/28 build so it's not like they won't be able to pick them up on the Fury Tree anyway.

But that is unlikely?

To never miss while dual wielding:
Dual-wield auto-attack, with 3/3 Precision (Warrior talent): 395 hit rating
You only need 95 hit rating with 3/3 Precision to never "miss" a yellow attack.

395 hit rating is that even possible?

I said I'm not using it intentionally, I just didn't want to look like a twat specced fury wielding only ONE one-hand in BG's, but I have enough honor to buy my second axe, I'll be getting it tonight.

Yes it's possible. It's not recommended at all. Warrior DPS mostly comes from specials, for which hit rating does almost nothing. Rogues on the other hand, get most of their DPS from white hits, so it's a great idea to get a lot of hit rating. It's a terrible idea to gem for +hit for Fury, but +hit is the only gem that Rogues socket.
Anyway, using a 2H with 150+ hit rating + Precision is overkill. You need 5% (?) hit to never miss in PVP's level 70 targets, which means ~32 hit rating with 3/3 Precision.
That's interesting. I always thought rogues rely more on specials (sinister strike, ghostly strike, mutilate, shiv, hemorrhage, etc) for combo points and fury warriors rely heavily on auto-attacks, which is their rage generating hits. Warrior's specials are also on a longer cooldown, which mean in-between you are counting on your auto-attacks. For rogues, auto-attacks are a bonus, most of their specials are on the GCD of 1 sec. Their only draw back is they gotta manage their energy - which prevents them from spamming their specials. I see more fury warriors running around with +hit ratings than rogues - but that's just me.

lol i enjoy my prot warrior for pvp, im teaming with a frost mage atm, and we actually do pretty well.. i put out dps quite slowly but rogues hit 80-120 on me and thats just funny, and with prot ya have a nice amount of stuns so, i just stun out 1 of my enemies let the other beat on my while my partner takes down the stunned target, lots of kiting and stance dancing but it works quite well for me. also i still havent found an arms/fury warrior that can actually kill me which is really cool lol =) thats just my 2 bits worth
Wait til that druid start casting roots and cyclone on you constantly while they take down the mage. I think Arms Warriors who loses to protection warriors makes the mistake of being in berserker stance, when they should be in battle stance because that Overpower seem to come up constantly when fighting a protection warrior!

I tried using an Arms/Fury Slam build, but I just couldn't get it to work.
Read the sticky-guides here on wowhead and got my timing down so
that I hit Slam the moment my warrior pulled his axe back for the auto
attack, performing the talented (.5 second) slam immediately after
and enjoyed watching the white and yellow numbers both pop up from
the hit, but it just didn't have the damage output to compare to
dual-wielding.
Even had a crit rate of 26% paired with Flurry, Deep Wound and
Impale. But my dps was stuck in the 150 - 200 range, well below
what I had with dual-wielding (250-300+).
((shrugs)) Props to people who get it right, because for the life of
me, apparently I just couldn't.
