Focused Insight question

I've been looking at the generic
Resto Shaman spec
, and trying to decide what I could drop, if anything, for
. I know it now works with Healing Rain that's a big plus for fights with heavy AoE damage, but not sure what would be worth dropping for it.
Thanks for any help.

I ran with
this spec
for the longest time. It gave me the opportunity to go offensive for either mana return or use focused insight in conjunction with unleash life to get some really high heals. That spec had most of the mandatory talents, but I never really liked Blessing of the eternals (still don't use it, might in patch) and cleansing waters just doesn't seem worth the points.
Small note: focused insight will buff healing rain before it's consumed. So, you can cast a shock as healing rain is ticking and it will increase the healing of it before your next heal.

You should find everything you need there. I believe they run through several potential builds.

I have recently been changing my spec a lot and even tried an offensive spec. Right now I have the generic spec and missing my focused insight mainly because I miss using it with riptide. It doesn't only affect the direct heal of it but also the HoT and with the same cd, I usually used them together unless I wanted to pull off an absolute massive heal (highest is 98k when the tank was low).
I'd say try out my spec or something similar and if you don't like it then go for the generic spec. What's WoW without a little experimentation.
