you leveled to 70, did all quests in netherstorm and don't have 1k gold? what did you buy?

Gees you must have bought a lot of gear while you leveled up or something. I just hit 70 on my Druid a couple weeks ago and already have my Epic flight skill, just need to kill the boss in Heroic Sethekk to get my heroic flight form. Granted, I didn't have to pay 1,000 gold for the normal flight skill, but still.

I'd get two gathering professions, which is what I leveled up with, herbalism and skinning. Sell everything that isn't grey on the AH. Loot absolutely everything from mobs that you kill, even the vendor trash. It adds up. After 30 minutes or so of questing I will usually have 5 - 12g just from selling vendor trash.

With herbalism/skinning you can pick herbs to sell on the AH, and skin Clefthoofs in Nagrand for Clefthoof leather which sells for about 65g for a stack on my server. Or kill the snakes in western Nagrand or Shadowmoon Valley for Cobra Scales which sell for 20 - 25g each. Wind Scales also sell well, about the same as Clefthoof leather.

Not to mention while you kill all those mobs you'll also be getting green drops and vendor trash to sell.

Another way to make money is to learn Enchanting and buy or farm cheap greens on the AH, then disenchant them and sell the enchanting materials for more. The add-on Auctioneer and BottomScanner will really help you there.
