spec for what you do most. you can still do all the types of content you want. you simply won't be as efficient at doing them.

If you go full shadow, you are good all around. You won't be a good healer, but you will be good pvp and pve. Healing is totally different. You can try for holy spec, but you won't be able to solo as well. At the same time if you spec disc/holy and go disc only so far as imp divine spirit, you will be a good healer and have good holy dps. It's up to you, and up to your gear.

Shadow isnt that great at pvp (well, not very good at all)

but yeah, you can not have all those things, if you want to be a healer in instances, you need to be pretty deep holy, if you want to pvp, you need to be deep disc. If you want to solo, you will want to be shadow.

Want to heal? Holy
Want to pvp? Disc
Want to dps in pve and pvp? Shadow
