I'm trying to get this mount also.
the quest chain is easy to solo till the last part where you need a group or boost into Stratholme.
Done it all but cant find a group or a helpfull 70 with 15mins to spare to do the last part

Less than 15 minutes, actually. All you need to do is go in the Stratholme back entrance, into the chapel, do the quest there and then you can exit. :)

The quest chain does not end in Strat, it ends in Scholo, when you get your horse.
Regarding anyone who says "forget the quest, it's easier/cheaper/faster to just buy one," if you do, you should have been a warrior.

This quest is a lot easier to do - although to be honest I waited until 70 to do it.
The hardest and most expensive part, IMO, was getting the 6 Arcanite Bars for the barding - and now that there's no cooldown on Arcanite Transmutes, I'm expecting to see the prices drop - or I'll have to hop on my Rogue that I leveled Alchemy on just for that transmute and start forcing them down myself...

go look it up if you don't believe me. because i just finished it after finally finding a group.

Horde paladin questline ends in Stratholme.
Alliance paladin questline in Scholomance.
And the Horde questline is much easier than the Alliance version, as most of it can be done solo - especially at 70.

No part of the epic mount quest "ends" in Stratholme. Strat is the only place to get

, which is necessary to complete

. Your quest is hardly complete at that point, since you don't get your Charger without getting the barding blessed in Dire Maul, then defeating Deathknight Darkreaver,
who is in Scholomance.
Once you have the barding, your quest is hardly "complete." That particular quest may be complete, but what are you going to do with an unblessed arcanite barding? Sit on it and make horsie noises?
Go look it up if you don't believe me...
