buying a titansteel destroyer before cold weather flying, then getting http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37852(colossal skull-clad cleaver, which is the one i wanted more anyway) on a HoL run 15 minutes after i pay 1000g for the destroyer.

also not leveling my profs until lvl 80...

now im stuck with 200g and a painful method of farming gold, and no cold weather flying, which is looked down upon in my guild.

building blocks of epic phail's are either laziness or noobiness. and i sure as hell am NOT a noob, so what else could i be?....

I gathered together like 4k gold before 80. Spent it all on pre-raid gear and enchants instead of saving more for epic flyer.. :/

I'm too lazy to gather gold anymore. Most of my gold nowadays comes from the Dungeon Dailies and loots from heroics/raids.

Sometimes mine in SB and IC but no Epic Flyer so it's really, really, slow.

I'm not a noob, just lazy as Ray said. I can pull 4k on Patch in Patch 3.0.9. I haven't played much in 3.1 so I can't say much now.

Dual spec yes, but he was in the appropriate gear and was brought in to heal the raid specifically.

Most likely had swapped gear via the backpack and hadnt noticed the second trinket hadnt changed.

I have that problem when swapping from Prot to Ret and vice versa.

Excellent epic fail tale incoming.

Guild raid, the setting, Ulduar 25, the trash just before Kologarn.

We're all goofing off, waiting on some players to arrive (it was night #2 of our raid, we were just starting) and we were all using the Noblegarden items to turn each other into bunnies.

We're all buffed, and everybody responded to the ready check ... tank goes and pulls... and we wipe in extremely short order.

Bunnies can't cast spells....

One day I heard the story of the legendary shadow priest.

I think it was on a RP server...a certain shadow priest was DPSING in a group. At some point in the instance, the group wiped, except for the famous shadow priest. One of the group member asked him gently ''Hey can you rez us?'' And the priest refused. He told them he was a shadow priest and that he never uses other spell than shadow ones...

O.o

even if he was rping he was still a bit of jerk, resseruction is a holy spell but still it is more considered a basic priest spell. Bet he used Power words shield on himself who is disciple then he grinded.
