Dps question and stats

I have dk. Tank main spec and dps off. Question: Why many mans enchant 15 stats to chest when 15spi and 15int is almost useless stats for dk in least. You can enchant others like stamina and so. Why some do 15?

15 Str 15 Agi (and 15 stam) is better than any other option (save for +20).

I use stamina 55. Its only 15 strenght. 40 stamina more.

If you aren't a tank, you want the Strength more. Stamina increases your DPS by zero.

55 stamina doesn't contribute to your dps at all. If you're using the same chest piece for both spec's than that changes the discussion. However, there is enough easy access to 333/346 pieces with reputations/dungeon drops that you shouldn't be doing that. A 333 dps piece ought to be better than a 346 tanking one.

+40 Stamina is 560 Health (Source). My friend's 343 ilvl Fury Warrior has nearly 120,000 Health unbuffed. If something will kill you, that 40 Stamina won't stop it.

I was gonna say something witty, but I'm kind of in an ecstatic daze by the fact that Minad made a thread and replies to it. It's like finding all the candy in the world in one drawer that you don't even need to unlock.

The reason is, tanks right now have enough stamina from gear and other enhancments (like shoulder and helm) that we are looking at many of our enchants and gems from more of a DPS point of view. As a tank, DPS = threat. Stacking pure stamina as a tank was how it was done in Wrath, but Cata has given us more than enough stamina now through gear. As the DPS in your group continue to progress, you are going to want as much threat as possible to keep up with them.

Okay yes. Sorry im tank ms so i rate stamina good too much. Dps is all dps thing and stamina comes from gear enough. I understand.

Its time for interrupt you. Write about subject and not more else. Then thread is good. And i enchanted 15 stats on chest yes. Its good enchant i guess. And cheap.
