DOT Macros

I played with affliction tree for a long time and my biggest, if not only, problem was refreshing DOTs on time; not early, not late. In some tense situations it's hard to avoid some DOTless seconds or re-applying Curse of Agony right before it lands its most damaging tick. I found this macro type in forums for hunters, solving a mana-consuming issue of Mend Pet. I tried with my warlock and it works as magic so far.
/castsequence reset=18 Corruption, null
/castsequence reset=24 Curse of Agony, null
/castsequence reset=30 Siphon Life, null
/castsequence reset=16 Unstable Affliction, null (16 because it's not instant)
All these are separate macros and after casting the DOT spell, they turn grey and not be clickable until reset condition (DOTs duration wears out) is satisfied. You can of course add additional reset conditions but especially for boss fights, all you need to do is watch your action bar and click whichever pops up.
Have fun

I apoligise if I misunderstood that comment but, how do we cast spells without clicking their respective buttons via mouse or keyboard?

Well, the macro he described work well if you're using keybinds too.
However i agree with Nefarion that it's better to use some dot monitor that'll let you know visually how much time is left for each of your dots, so you are tracking them globally.
Also, your macro probably would cause problems when there's a resist.
