i have a couple of questions on unholy dk spell rotations ....... i saw this rotation on youtube .....
1)Gather Mobs
2)death and decay
3)unholy blight
4)icy touch + scourge strike
5)Pestilance
6)Corpse Explosion
I tried this rotation and i ran into some problems during the 2nd phase of the rotation ...... i dont have any runic energy to cast UB since it req 50 runic energy ...... i was wondering if u guys can think of a possible solution to this rotation problem.
can u guys let me know wat u guys things of this talent spec too

Chances are the video that you saw was mine.
What I did was single-target a couple of mobs before the AoE pulls to build up runic power. It doesnt drain exceptionally fast, so you can start an aoe pull with 90+ runic power and have plenty for the unholy blight cast.

buzzards in hellfire, or the swamp pit in hellfire with all those ooze things.
The unyielding footmen arent good for us since they're immune to D&D's fear effect.

I was trying to go for a tanking spec that can solo and pvp with out having to change spec's
P.S. i posted it on the DK talent post but didn't feel like i was going to get any answers
I cant really comment on frost, I havent really used it (or even tried it) yet. Anyways, none of the talent trees are correct right now, people need to quit trying to post builds until closer to release =P

Seriously, though -- Blizz adding a new, desirable class and trying to make all 30 specs viable is gonna be real real nice. I envision a perfect world where cries of "lol

Can Death Knights use Warglaives ?
Warglaives of illidan are rogue/warrior only, and blizzard has said that they have no plans to change old content for deathknights - so the answer is no. We cant use thunderfury, quel'serrar, or hand of rag either.

yes I read the whole FAQ first and I might have just missed it but is there a cap to the DK's runic power like a warriors rage, I figure there is but not sure how much it is. Thanks for the info so far its been nice to get a little more of a tease lol
100 runic power cap, same as rage/energy.

Dunno if I understood everything but you can still see other Death Knights in starting area (not in Ebon Hold) if so can you talk to Death Knights of opposite faction? Or can you fight against them? ( I would love to kill some allys :D)
You can see other death knights who are in the same instanced version of the starting zone (meaning only if they're on the same set of quests as you are).
You cannot talk to opposing faction players.
The death knight starting quest areas are non-pvp, and I actually think they're split up by faction (i.e. all horde DK's are in a seperate instance set from all alliance DK's).
One of the initial quests requires that you duel and defeat five other death knights. You can either duel 5 player death knights, or you can duel 5 of the death knight initiates (NPC's) in the area to complete the quest.
Is there a mailbox somewhere in starting area so you can send stuff from your other characters
Since you start as a member of the scourge, you cannot recieve guild invites, mail, or messages from alliance or horde members until you finish the entire starting quest chain.
There is a mailbox in the first village you have to destroy, however - so you can get things like collector's edition pets and such from it.
Can you return to the starting area once you are freed under the control of Lich King?
Not that I know of, but I havent tested it. Since the starting areas are all instanced, I highly doubt it.
And last one: What is your current level visas?
Currently 66, a few bars from 67. I dont level all that fast since I have a lot of stuff going on in RL right now, and I'm an eternal procrastinator when it comes to leveling up =P I hate sitting at the comp for hours at a time killing mobs =/
