Alynna Brighteye
Howling Fjord
"Well sorry for attempting to be pleasant," Alynna said dryly, wincing as she shifted her shoulder.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to call for help from these men, they didn't seem like the best characters. But then again, they gave her a healing potion and didn't kill her (yet, anyways) so maybe it wasn't so bad.
Alynna wandered away from the group, towards where she had fallen. Her pack must be around somewhere... the elf needed a sling badly. There was no way she could unstrap her plate armor with only one arm to get to her soft undershirt underneath, and there was
no way
she was asking these men to assist. Her pack had a cloak and some linen in it.
After several minutes of searching amongst the rubble, she found it partially wedged under a rock. "Good, bloody thing," Alynna muttered, pulling it free and rummaging for the bolts of cloth. She attempted to make a makeshift sling for her shoulder using only one arm. It was sloppy, but hopefully it would help.

Lucien nodded, holding onto the bike and pushing it along. "Let's." He stated, heading off the hill of displaced earth and starting along through the valley.

Alynna looked up to see the others were starting to head out and stumbled back to her feet. She slung her pack over her good shoulder and - moving as quickly as she could manage, being injured and exhausted - trailed after them.
She opened her mouth slightly, hesitated, then closed it, as if she considered saying something to the two of them then thought better of it. It was best not to push her luck with them. At least if she kept her mouth shut maybe they wouldn't leave her behind if she collapsed or something.

"Should have brought that map with us..." Lucien muttered, continuing along with his bike.

After walking a while, with the occasional break so the group could give their aching bodies a break, they eventually came to a rather large river.
Ice-cold water beat against the banks, moving at a fair speed and flowing through the valley. Lucien glaned back upstream, spotting a waterfall in the far distance; roaring down the cliffside from wherever its source was.
"Welp... found our river..." He muttered.

Alynna peered over the edge of the water nervously. She was never a big fan - she never learned to swim. "So follow it, and we find civilization..." the elf said, her voice showing her exhaustion. Throughout their travels, she had remained silent. "Hopefully civilization that won't kill me..." she added.

Lucien kneeled down by the water, dipping his hand in to test the water. It was cold, freezingly so. But the current wasn't as dangerous as it could have been.
Nodding, he dipped the canteen beneath the waves, pulling it back up after a moment and screwing the top back on.

Alynna sighed. The pain in her arm and cheek had turned into a dull throbbing the longer they walked, and she continued to sip on the healing potion as needed.
"So, what's names belong to you boys?" she asked finally. Alynna wasn't that much of a talker, but it was boring and tiresome to wander injured along a valley with no sounds but the rushing of water.

"Lucien Greyfang, if it's that important." The rogue stated, dragging his bike along the shore in hopes of eventually finding something.
Stumps began to appear along the treeline, as if the forest had been cut into for lumber. Lucien knew it could mean any sort of civilization, but he still hoped it was Alliance handiwork.

Alynna sighed, rubbing her temple with her good hand. "Oh Light, I hope this is a Horde town," the paladin groaned quietly, trailing behind the others.

Lucien paused, eying the river ahead.
Docks jutted outwards into the water, small ships tied to them and moving up and down with the waves. Following them inland, he spotted several small buildings; made of wood and logs. A small stone wall, barely waist high for most people, seemed to stretch along the border of the settlement; looking like it was set up in quite the hurry.
"Well now..." The man commented.

"Does this place hold some significance to you?" Alynna asked, raising an eyebrow as she studied the low walls and outskirts of the settlement. Having no knowledge of the area, Alynna had no idea where they were or what this place was.

"I think I'm gonna leave the planning to miss Jack, with you Marcus popping up with helpful suggestions, so tell me when something needs killing," Ahriman commented, crouching near the tracks to get a read on the lingering arcane energy.

"Perhaps we could trace the residue to the current location of the ammo cache?" Marcus asked with a shrug.

"Well, that's good news for me at least," Alynna said with a humourless smile. "Thanks again for not killing me, by the way. Much appreciated boys."
