"First off, killing dragons is job for people like us. Not conscripted greenhorns who barely know which end of the sword you stick into the enemy," Ahriman protested.
"Secondly, cruel as it may sound, a mage would tear apart eight soldiers in a unit, and the ninth would take him down. This is not about bringing the footmen up to the level of trained battlemages."

Falionna ran away from her rock as the fireball smashed itself agianst the rock, the dark ranger whom had bearly escaped a fiery death was now exposed to the wrath of the giant of stone.
The stone giant charged at the undead elf and the assulted ran towards the deathstalkers, in hope they had a plan to break the walking chunk of rock. The banshee in the corpse fired an arrow to the giant to slow it a bit while she grabed the leader of the groupp.
"What's the plan?" She shouted.

The vrykul let out a victorious roar when he saw the rock explode in a ball of fire, which prompted the proto-drake to launch another attack; this time aimed at Vanessa.
She passed low over the stone giant and, consequently, over Falionna and the deathstalkers with the vrykul in pursuit. The flamethrower attack went wide and missed, lighting up a nearby tree like a match.
"Don't lure him to me!" Aaron responded, waving to his companions. "Grapple!" he called out, and one of them produced a hook on a line and threw it to him. He passed it on to Falionna, ducking just as the proto-drake made its low pass overhead. "Try to get up on his back," he suggested and pointed wildly at the giant. "They must have some kind of brain to stab!"

Location: Valiance Keep, Borean Tundra
Alessora walked up to the gatherd men and said to them. "If you're after dragons, rumor has it that there are red and blue ones to the northwest in the tundra.
Character: Falionna Shadesong
Location: Howling Fjord
Falionna placed her bow on to her back, she when she received the grapple noded to Aaron then shortly after, the Dark Ranger charged against the stone giant whom tried to stomp her when she got close to it. The fallen elf jumped forwards and rolled on the dirty ground and dodged the giant's foot.
Falionna used her newly obtained grabbling hook and threw it at the back of the stone giant, hiting it on it's head before it fell down and then got entangled on the tree on it's back and the dark ranger began her climb.

"Observation, right," Ahriman snorted. "A woman designs a breakthrough gun that will quite possibly save thousands, ridiculous as that may sound in regards to guns, and you just need to chew the whole thing out."

Howling Fjord
The deathstalkers cheered when they saw the dark ranger starting to climb, drawing their weapons and started flailing and making noises with them to distract the stone giant.
Stay on,
Vanessa silently urged the vrykul pursuer and raced off to the west in an attempt at buying time for the others to handle the threat on the ground. The vrykul caught on, speeding off into the distance.

Richard sighed. "It wasn't meant to sound bad." He said.
"It would be interesting to see one of those rounds beefed up into a grenade." Sparkbolt said looking down at his launcher in thought. "That could solve a bug problem."

Falionna climbed up, up and up the rope until she reached the tree that sprouted out from the giant's back, from there the dark ranger climbed up onto its stone head, when she got ontop of the head the gigant tried to shake the undead elf away from its head and was partially successful as Falionna lost her balance and was now dangling with her hands holding her up on the stone giant's neck.
Meanwhile the giant tried to crush the deathstalkers with his hands and feet.

There was a static-filled shouting sound echoing from the communicator suddenly; Lucien wincing and quickly pulling it away from his ear as the Gnome on the other side protested loudly.
"Fine, just don't go getting yourself killed." Lucien stated. "Or else I'll

hear the end of it."

"I hear enough from her as is." Lucien commented, beginning to walk. "She worries too much." He mumbled, absently pulling a healthstone from his coat pocket and fiddling with it.
