I've been doing naxx and other heroics/raids lately, and I've noticed my dps is lacking. I remember doing 3k+ on VoA, now I can barely manage 2.7k. Currently, I'm a FG/ember build, and I enjoy the simpleness of it, but.. I heard a rumor that this build doesn't scale good with the better gear you have. Now, not to be smug or anything, but I do have a 'good' set of gear, hit capped, good amount of SP, nice amount of crit.
Here's what I'm asking. Criticize me, tell me what I can do better, maybe it's armor choice, maybe it's rotation, maybe it's build, whatever it is, please try giving me some help, maybe other people can learn a thing or two as well.
Rotation: (detect invisibility 10 times for trinket, prior to fight) Send FG in, DE, trinket, CoA(CoD on bosses that will be up for more than a minute, so raid bosses in general) , corr, immo, incinerate (while hitting SB if nightfall procs from glyph), refresh dots, incinerate, LT when needed, etc.
Glyphs: Felguard, Corruption, Immolate.
Note: Don't critique my gems, instead, critique my choice of gems. I honestly don't care for the extra +6 SP i'll get from blue gems, and I understand that's part of the reason why my dps is slightly lacking, but the blue gems on my server are like 200g each, and I am not paying that much. Rather wait a few weeks.
Note 2:
Don't link the sticky with all the builds. I've tried most of them, I want builds that YOU HAVE experienced. Builds that you have a good experience with. I'm not one of those scrubs who comes here and doesn't stare at stickys and blindly posts asking for "halplol".
Personally, I believe it's something with my rotation maybe, but that's just my hunch.

Edit: Also, I'm saving my badges (43ish) for the t7 gloves so i can get my 2 set bonus. Also, saving my valor badges (26ish) for the t7 pieces for the 4 set bonus. Unless there's something very note worthy, I probally won't buy it.

This is my build. There are 2 points in iSB which are not mandatory. They can be moved to either Molten Core or you can keep them in iSB, it's really up to what you want. It's more of a preference filler talent, I guess.
Rotation is SB > Haunt (this proc's Shadow Embrace and stacks it twice) > Corruption > UA > Immolate (you always cast UA and Immolate together since they are both 15 seconds) > CoA > SiLi then refresh DoTs, spam SB and use Haunt as much as possible and never have the effect off the target. Once the target gets <25% health you would spam Drain Soul because it deals a lot of damage. Mine deals about 10k a tick. Make sure that
ALL your DoTs are being refreshed during this because its damage is increased based on how many DoTs you have. Make sure Shadow Embrace is also on the target, it increases the damage by quite a bit when using Drain Soul.
On normal boss fights in Naxx where you are generally moving around, I manage 3k DPS at minimum and usually around 3.5k-4k. The hardest part of this build is managing your DoTs and making sure you have the rotation down. One mess up and you've most likely blown your DPS. It took me about 2 weeks before I actually saw progress in my DPS but that was mainly because I wasn't actually caring when I first started out.
Btw, you're obviously ready for Naxx so I would say to give every raid a run through and to only buy the T7 items
if it doesn't drop after a few runs. I bought my chest and everytime I ran 10-man VoA it dropped for me. So right now, I have 4 T7 chests (people didn't want to D/E it for some odd reason...) which is making me really regret wasting my emblems on it. Though, I do have all my emblem gear, it could have saved me some time :P
I guess I'll try aff a few times again... I'm about to do malygos, so I'll see my dps and mark it down then try some other fights as aff...
