Memoirs of a Half-orc
Ugh.
The looks.
Such dirty looks.
They look at me, aghast, unable to comprehend what they see. Some bear looks of pity, as if they feel sorry for what I am. Most show simple—primal even—hatred.
I am a half-orc. My father was one of those wicked beings who came through that twice damned portal to take this world. My mother was a victim.
Bah...
Humans aren't much better. My mother abandoned me. I received no education in my youth. Even now, I do not write this by my own hand, but because a certain dwarf of the Explorer's League has granted me the honor of dictation.
But where was I...
Ah yes.
Humans are not much better. I barely survived my childhood, and that was only thanks to a kind paladin who saw fit to place me in an internment camp. Filthy things. The camps and their denizens. I could not bear to look at my father's race, sitting lazily in their own filth like animals.
And that is why I did not go across the sea with Thrall in my youth. It is the orcs who are responsible for this. All of it.
I tried to make my living among the more open minded humans, in the more liberal cities. Hives of villainy infested with sludge and scum. I was forced to leave to save my own life thanks to the gangs. They don't like orcs, half or not.
And so I moved south, down to Azeroth.
I live in Elwynn now, away from the humans. I am protected by law, but that does not stop the attacks. Twice my house has been burned down and I have had to seek shelter elsewhere. I've been ambushed in the woods and beaten within an inch of my life more times than I can count. I suspect there are not many places better for me.
I once tried to enter Stormwind. Biggest mistake of my life.
I tried to purchase some food. The guards immediately assumed I was stealing. They locked me in the pillory in the Trade District. You can imagine how that was.
This whole world disgusts me. I hate it. I hate them. Nowhere is home. Nowhere is safe.
Here's hoping that the damned Horde and the hateful Alliance just kill eachother in their war.

I likes it. Love the Star Wars reference.Heh... :P Wasn't entirely intentional, just subconscious from seeing that movie and hearing that part referenced so many times... :P
You know what's interesting... You never determine the gender of the narrator. Normally I don't like that, as it hampers my ability to visualize the character, but I think it works in this case. One might visualize a female like Garona, or a male like Med'an.

You know, I was reading this thread over again, and I just realized that in Darkton's story, he actually (perhaps unitentionally) ended up making Varian look like the huge d**k that the Horde sees him as...
Just as Varian turned to leave, a tall dreanei came into the scene...
"Light have mercy on you" The dreanei said "I gave my life fighting for your armys at Northrend, and you repay me by destroying my last link to my sister?"
"So your a realitive of this wreck?" said Varian "I dont wish to kill you, but I have learned the price of showing mercy to your family once before, and I will kill you unless you leave and never return." The king said after a long moument of silence.
"Fight you? Oh dont be silly. That is not the way my kind solves issues. I will just lexure you about your ways, and hope to light a new future for you of happiness and peac-"
Just then the warrior ran his elfish blade through the dreanei's chest."I don't wnat to kill you."
"Good, because I don't want to fi-"
*Varian kills him*
As the warrior prepared to leave, a small mixed-race kid came from hiding behind a rock to confront him.
"No..." said the child. "You killed them... you killed them both... Why? Why would you do this to them? I won't stand for this! I demand justice! Prepare to meet my fire-holy-ice-shammy-water-Super Sayain blast head on-!
Just then the child lost his head.And then killing an innocent child... >.>
I'm left wondering whether it was a serious attempt to portray Varian as Darkton see him, or if it's just a characature of the way Darkton believes that I see him.
His comment "Its a joke about his thread about Varian going after Med'an." leaves me confused about which of the above it is.

Well... considering that Dark thinks more of Varian as a cool-headed dude than what he's portraying in that, I'd say it's a joke. I don't think that Darkton really thinks Varian would attack Maraad unless he was defending himself.

And I don't like how you are making Anduin hang out with the people who are closly related to the person who is responsible for Stormwinds fall in the first place.One of his comments on Azeroth 20 Years Later.....

Meh, I'm flattered that affected someone enough that they felt the need to attack me... :P Same thing I felt when Varen made that Skreeran hate thread... :P I just thought it was funny that I had actually had that effect on someone.

Nah, the guy deleted it, turned the name into gibberish, and told the mods to lock it heh. But you can still see mine, dralas, patty and other's comments on it heh.
Yeah, if your going to post something... atleast leave it there for good or bad, seriously.
