Considering dropping leatherworking

Hello all.
I have a 70 hunter with maxed skinning and ~320 leatherworking, but at the moment I do not see the benefit in having high leatherworking. I'm an avid PvP'er. Is there anything useful in Leatherworking for a hunter, or is it only crafting armor kits for money?
I have alts with maxed Herbalism, Enchanting, Tailoring and Alchemy.
Would it be reasonable to switch to Mining and Engineering/Jewelcrafting?

Gold is not that important to me. With a lot of alts running dailies plus working the AH I never run out of gold.
The crucial point is whether a profession like engineering our jewelcrafting would benefit my character more.

What would be more sensible? Giving a hunter engineering (thus dropping leatherworking) or giving it to a rogue?

im a rogue and im the only class that finds a use of LW...
DRUMS FTW!!
Wouldn't LW (and thus drums) be more appropriate for a feral druid?
