Druids are the only class in the game that can tank, heal, melee DPS and ranged DPS, so if you're looking for flexibility that's where it's at. You'll never have a problem getting a raid spot as a Druid if you're happy playing all of those roles.
With the changes to spellpower you will probably get away with three sets of gear for some time as there's no longer such a difference between healing/damage sets.

Well, maybe not tank
per se
, but they might pinch hit for a few moments.
Edit - and Shamans can do it all at the same time, while Druids have to shift forms.

Alright, so im coming back after a two year "break", or that i couldn't really pay for the subscription.
As an adult, driving in Switzerland one day, Alfred Hitchcoock pointed out the window and told a friend, "That is the most frightening sight I have ever seen." The friend looked out with alarm and saw only a priest with his arm around a young boy. But Hitch^&*! leaned out of the car: "Run, little boy! Run for your life!"
