"We'll see how quickly that rule is to be broken, though it seems to be for good reason," he added, glancing around at the students. Many of them seemed unimpressed by the rule, but Kaestan hoped they would abide by it. That's what rules were for.

Kutom'bai stroked the wyrm's side, watching the creature with interest. She heard the mention of a forbidden forest and her interest piqued. "Dat sounds like a good place fo' parties, dat fores'," the troll said with a sly grin.
"An' dey dinna say anyfin' 'bout fightin' rings outsida class," Kutom'bai said, her grin growing. "Fo' practice," she added, looking at Elthalis and winking.

"Riiiiight, practice. Not any motives for any financial gain from it?" Elthalis said with a long elven eyebrow raised "The headmaster said no magic out of class but a non-magic gladiator duel system could still work with the curent school rules." The she elf said with a smirk.
The wyrm began to coil himself around Kutom'bai's hand.

"Is he? Darn I can't see anything! Or hear anything! Everyone is so noisy! I thought someone else was gunna talk?" Meeba squeaked, craning her neck and trying to look over the heads of the taller races. After several seconds she sat back down, defeated. She ran her fingers along her skirt, straightening it once more. "Drat."

"But i do." Said Elthalis and conjured up a glowing sphere of arcane in the palm of her hand, the magic immidietly atracted the wyrms atention, making it slither in the air back to the elf. And then the mana wyrm devoured the sphere of magic whole.
