I genuinely mean no offense to the authors of the 10 selected haiku today, but does anyone else here feel
most
(not all) of the submissions to choose from are a little on the weak side? The tauren one was great, as was the Old Spice one in my opinion.
But the others were a bit "meh". :(
I can only imagine how difficult and time consuming it is for the Wowhead staff to sort through and pick 10 from the no doubt thousands of submissions, but hopefully we'll see some better choices as the contest goes on.

Yeesh, this was more of a "Pick the least awful Haiku" not the best. 2 about Mankirk? Old spice meme? And that 111 thing doesn't belong at all.

Mages. Normally, their rotation is Arcane Blast x4 (1 1 1 1) and then Arcane Missiles with a Missile Barrage proc (2). But in burn phases they just spam Arcane Blast (1 1 1 1 1 1 1).

I'm guessing it has something to do with binding (Spell 1) to the 1 Key and (Spell 2) to the 2 Key. During the burn phase, the writer simply mashes 1 and 2.

My first two posts were about cataclysm. Thought maybe they'd have a bit more leverage. Guess some others thought the same and they didn't stand out of the crowd. Went with a new topic now. Good luck all.
