Okay, so I did my stuff, I got some epics, I have S1 gloves, Frozen Shadoweave shoulders and boots, the neck from Kara with +shadow, all my stuff is enchanted because I'm a max level enchanter.
So why is it that I can never seem to win in a duel, arena, or one on one in any BG's? It seems that anytime I fear, I get trinketed and ganked, if I go toe to toe they tear me apart. My dots are only hitting for 200 a tick, and that's with FIVE dots on them (Curse of Agony, Siphon Life, Immolation, Corruption, UA) and yet I can't seem to stay alive long enough to do any sort of damage, even if I manage to kill the guy I don't get any honor because I"m face down in the dirt!
Resilience has ruined my lock, I can't do a bloody thing, I can't run Destro because the crits won't do crap, dot's are pwnt, and Demo annoys me.
I'm going to go roll a horde ret pally now, giving up. Thank you deathwing failliance.

well without knowing your gear or spec(looks like you tried em all) heres my advice in bullet form:
-Frozen shadow weave is pve gear plus you dont even have the whole set so no healing
-pick a spec and stick with it, it takes time to get used to the playing style
- for bgs go either full afflic or full demo or full destro
-for arenas go sl/sl(much harder to pull off), If you want to do well here stay in bgs and farm your season 1 gear
-Many players are now running around with S1 gear because its so easy to farm, you on the other hand have 1 piece. Do what they do, farm some honor buy S1 do better at pvp.
-Practice...come up with strategies to beat different classes so when you see them you already have a game plan on what to do
Hope this helps

Well, I was working on that earlier today, but the main reason that I'm so... TIRED of doing it is because the alliance on my server apparently can't follow simple directions to victory. Instead I see all of our priests busy trying to smite things instead of healing.
It's funny because it's not even our server that's messing up. Alliance ON Deathwing are fine in BG's. We proved that one day when all the other servers were down and it was DW alliance vs horde and we SLAUGHTERED THEM.
Instead, our battlegroup is mixed with our server (PvP server) And about four other PvE servers. So we get the carebear alliance dorks that don't know how to kill things, and the rest of us are forgetting what we're supposed to be doing because we're trying to compensate for the idiocy.
I lost 15 EotS games the other day. I'm done with BG's. My patience with it is stretched. I'd rather rub my face the wrong way up a cheese grater than to get stuck in another BG with those idiots.
I also sucked it up earlier and spent the remaining of my honor from my losses the other night on the shoulderpads. Woo.. 93 resilience... that'll keep me alive about .5 seconds longer.
I can't come up with a strategy because the most powerful +damage pieces that I can get (Frozen shadowweave) Even with the +shadow damage on them, I still can't get my dots to do enough damage to kill ANYTHING. They are overhealed, they are dispelled (Bubble, Felhunter, Iceblock to name just a few that can dispell UA and all my Dots in one shot without blinking hard.)
Where's my anti-silence trinket? Where's my "I can turn invisible" ?
Blizz has officially made this class unbearable to play without speccing specifically to your task and even then it takes rediculous amounts of planning to do good, where as a hunter can walk in, run his fingers across three numbers and ruin your day.
GG
Edit: I'm also a human. I can see stealthers a split second before they eat my face, and I spend 10% less time grinding rep. Woo f#$king hoo.

This is off-topic, but you said you lost 15 eots games. When I was getting 40 of them for my vindicator's boots, it took me 38 games. 36 losses there. worst time I ever had.

I suppose I just long for the days back when I was doing bg's about... 10 levels ago and I didn't have to even think about it. Things just WORKED.
Endgame pvp adds too much random stuff that nerfs the hell outta me.
Yeah yeahQQ.

Tbh it sounds like you are going about it a little bit wrong.
Firstly Frozen Shadoweave is the epitome of PvE gear. The healing bonus is insignificant in PvP. What is more, any good enemy PvPer knows how ineffective that gear is in PvP and they know what it looks like. They will make a bee line across the BG to come and gank you. I know i would. Also - there are hardly any epics from Karazhan that can touch season 1 gear for effectivenes in PvP.
Secondly, have a PvP spec. Felguard is great if you are still grinding for basic PvP gear as the survivability and utility is fantastic in all PvP situation except 2v2 arena (which is hopelessly imbalanced anyways). Affliction is great, but due to the fragility of it requires solid support, especially in arena. Destro can work well if you have amazing gear, but that is quite a big if. If you don't have a PvP spec and are not enjoying PvP as a result, well then your are options are respec or stop PvPing. Quite simple.
Thirdly, rogues aside, pwning in BGs for a class like ours is largely about positioning. When you are charging down the field towards some horde, don't don't don't DON'T run in front and start DoTing ppl. If you do you will receive the skull splitting punishment you deserve. Let a warrior run in first. There's plenty of them in BGs and the joy of their class is to charge in head first. Not ours. Make sure there is
always
someone else between you and classes that can crush you. Skim around at max range dotting ppl, and keep moving so that you are always in that strong hard to reach position. It's almost impossible for the enemy to target a warlock who is 36 yards away when there is a great big warrior 2 yards away. Only charge at classes you absolutely know you will enjoy melting face to face.
As for tactically winning BGs (and also dealing with rogues etc), take a friend or two into the BGs and stick together. In much the same way as instances are rubbish if all you ever do is PuG, so are BGs. You don't need a full premade at all though, just a few mates. 5 ppl who know what to do in EotS can win it. Even if you loose i guarantee you will have more fun playing with ppl you know.
And finally, duels are not balanced and are not designed to be. Winning a duel means nothing. Loosing a duel means nothing. If you can't get your head around those facts, don't duel ppl.
Sorry if this sounds a bit forceful, but that the reaction QQing gets from me.. :-)
PS - you do get the HK if they die after you do.
PPS - i never met a retri i couldn't kill on my lock, and i never met one i couldn't outheal for hours on my resto. You might want to rethink rerolling one, or you might be QQing the pally forums next month.

Now THAT is a good response... and yes yesterday I scrounged up the money and respecced Felguard, then sucked it up and bought the S1 shoulders. ( I do like the electricity effect.)
Things were... better. I had been coming in tops in the groups before, but it was sorta staggered on whether or not we actually had any tanks doing what they should have been doing (I've RARELY run into any tanks outside of bear druid on my server, don't know why -.-.) but I -had- been demo for 50 summat levels. And I brought a friend with me (Hunter who I enchant for.) and he ran the flag magnificently. We finally won, I got my daily etc, all was good in the world.
Still doesn't change that this damned battlegroup (Outside of the ACTUAL deathwing server) is worthless.. ah well.
Thanks for the pep talk.
