Ironfist
the Daybreaker
Ironfist simply nodded and took a deep breath of the fresh sea air. He followed the felblood to Kareithels cabin.
- "The bird had already flown from the nest milord", the orc said as he entered the room. "It seems most of the papers were taken with them but at least some were left behind."

"Good."
Before the Blood Lord could have said anything else, a courier knocked on the door.
"Yes?"
"Milord, the list is here, as you have requested," the courier bowed and placed a sealed envelope on the table before retreating.
"Excellent. Ironfist, I need you to describe each and every person that you have met in the, as you called it, nest. I understand that you have been focused on delivering justice to the wretched scum rather than memorising their faces, so in case you need help, Cyrus will refresh your memory," Kareithel spoke, opening the envelope absent-mindedly.
'
Usefulness like yours is a rare thing these days... And that's exactly why I'll push it to the limits,
' he thought.

- "I met only few acolytes. I hope that there were more in the side rooms and the explosion should have taken care of them. But yes, let me think now. A human, male. Short blond hair and rather lightweight classer, did a nice spin when I smashed his head.", Ironfist smiled to the last remark.
- "Then a female dranei, long black hair. Didn't see the face as she was facing away from me. I believe I cut her spine, but moving on. The last one I met was a male troll. Light blue mohawk, short tusks. Wide and short nose, most likely broken at some point before. Strangled him, you can never be sure with those things."

Kareithel rummaged through the envelope's contents and smiled, putting a tick near one of the entries.
"You, Ironfist, are a promising young orc that knows how to work hard and earn his place under the sun. How do you think..." the Blood Lord raised his head and stared at the orc, "Can you convince our enemies of this concept?"

"Indeed. I want you to portray betraying me and defecting to the cult. I will give you an amulet of communication that they will be unable to detect - only for you to uncover it as a token of your allegiance to them."
'
Only I will put an even more obscure spell at you... Something that even you will be unaware of. A plan within a plan.

- "A bold plan milord. And details? What cell are we targeting? And how can we know that the amulet will be on right place at the right time, say in top level meetings?", Ironfist spoke as much to himself as to Kareithel.

"You, Ironfist, are going right into the Bastion of Twilight - if they are spying on me, then they know about you, ergo they will not shoot you down at first sight. Once there, you will have a week to find out what are they up to - after which, you will try to sneak out and contact me in person.
As I said, you will be impersonating a traitor to my cause, ergo they will follow you, trying to get me. Do not fret, I will be able to ward off any attacks and defend you if need arises.
During that week, you will be on your own, seeing as you will have to give them your only means of contacting me - this amulet."
Kareth rummaged through his table and took out what could be best described as a copper tear on a simple chain.
"You will tell them everything I told you about using this device - and that is whispering my name into it to try and initialise contact. You will tell them you were supposed to contact me every day at dawn, so that they will through you feed me false information, seeking to harm me. In the meantime, they will try to decypher the enchantments on this amulet - thus distracting themselves from whatever plans they have in mind."

Ironfist took the amulet and examined it for a short while, muttering something at the same time. Then he lifted his eyes to meet the Blood Lords and nodded.
- "I think I can manage one week with those nut jobs.", the orc said. Then there was a quick spark in his eyes and he began going through his backbag. "And I almost forgot. The papers I found. Especially this stack right here mentiones you sire."

"They are properly outdated already, as the cultists had fleed from Runeweaver's square before you arrived, but I will look through them all the same. Cyrus will teleport you to Undercity, and from there you will fly to Crushblow in the Highlands. Restock your equipment and tell him when you are ready, he will be waiting for you in the saloon," Kareithel said, taking the papers. "May the Eternal Sun guide you, Ironfist."
Meanwhile, in the saloon the felblood was carefully camouflaging the enhanced portal to hide the secondary spells. In Cyrus's study an orb was located - the crucial element of Kareithel's plan, for whoever stepped through the portal, what he saw and what he heard would be transferred to the orb. The felblood smiled behind his hood, thinking, '
Even if the orc is already serving the cultists, soon it will not matter.

((Clever little creatures these felbloods. Now comes the tricky part, how to play out the time span of a week and how and also when to reveal the true nature of our double-agent))

- "As you milord", Ironfist saluted and marched out. After a quick resupply, he walked into the saloon.
- "Cyrus old chap. How's the portal to Undercity coming?"

Morec sat on a pile of dead bodies, frowning. The test dummies down here were worthless, they broke too easily under a constant barrage of spells and blows from his sword. There was one highlight about them, though; they were edible.
He brought an arm up to his mouth and took a bite. It tasted like chicken.

"Hot like fresh pieth, give me a thecond to cool it down," came a reply.
The felblood made a complicated gesture and muttered something, taking a step back. The portal's surface rippled and became stable.

Kareithel's voice appeared in Ironfist's head.
"
This is the last time you are hearing from me, my friend. Seven days from this moment, meet me at,
" said the Blood Lord, and proceeded to describe a discreet valley not far from the Bastion. "
I will be alone, so try to lure not more than... say, thirty cultists with you. End communication.
"
The pendant glowed for a second and went off.

Thragg Earthbreaker
Location: Azshara - Bilgewater Harbor
"There," Thragg said, placing his finger on the second nearest innactive volcano shown on the map. "That is our destination." He paused, realizing that the goblins had never truely aggreed to assist them. "Money is no object," he added.
"True as that is," Captain O'yarly replied. "I don't fancy the idea of putting my vessle into harms way." He scratched his head, still debating whether or not money was really worth it in this case. His crew was split down the middle on which action they should take. Most curiously, Sprixx had voted yes - despite being a complete coward. And, the bankrupt-debter being a former shaman, that had had a good effect on O'yarly's decision, but he still wasn't sure.
Thragg clenched his jaw in anticipation.
Great ancestors
, he thought,
please...
"Alright, alright!" O'yarly said, shaking his head. "But when we get there you have half an hour to get in and get out with whatever it is you're after. Got that?"
The aging shaman breathed a sigh of relief and nodded. "We shall get underway immediately, then?"
"Yeah, yeah," the goblin captain said, turning to order his crew. The other goblins jumped to their task, regardless of their earlier thoughts. Either they were suicidal, or the promise of money had finally sunk in.
Either way, Thragg was glad that they were finally getting somewhere.

"Most likely... Although I have a feeling it will return when we find the warlocks," sighed Duskhide. "Bloodhowl, Lisciel, can you track them down?"
"I can do something about residual magic in the area, but it will take me a long time," replied Lisciel, frowning. "We may have won the battle but looks like the infernal did exactly what it was supposed to do - keep us here."

The tip of the polearm cut through Vrem's Undercity Tabard, but did not harm him directly. "Too late," he murmered, reaching out and grabbing shaft of the death knight's weapon with one hand and barely managing to level his rifle with the other. With a shot to visor of the troll's helmet lined up, he fired.
Talah snuck up behind the goblin and sheathed her weapons. She lunged out, grabbing the goblin's guns and bringing up a leg to kick the goblin in the back, trying to make him lose his grasp on at least one of them.

He sighed and took another bite of the arm he help.
