Bow Choice

I was looking at bow choices for Hunter 59+.

The PVP reward http://www.wowhead.com/?item=18833 looks the best bow I can lay my hands on till ~ level 68. My thought was to take a break from PVE, do some PVP and grab this bow which would a lot leveling towards 69-70.

Any thoughts?

I only have like 3K Honor right now and only gather 150-250 Honor per BG, so it's gonna take a while.

I have plenty of AB marks at this point (36+). Did I read somewhere that you could turn marks in exchange for honor, because honor is what I will be lacking. Probably just my failing memory though ;)

Well, I already have http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25241, so the Expedition Repeater is not a huge upgrade and the Expedition Repeater does 16% less DPS than the PVP bow.

Also, I am specced for IAotH. I should see a lot better proccing with the fast bow.

I don't see that bow speed has that much important for PvE other than the cost of arrows. I can understand wanting the slowest bow possible for PVP for that initial big punch of front loaded damage.

I would save my honor and just use quest/drop bows til you hit upper 60s/70. The difference in dps isn't going to be that strong, and you will quickly find you may be replacing the thing you are working so hard for right now.

Legion Blunderbuss is nice to use until something like The Gunblade (Relatively cheap, lasted me a good long while).

Don't forget http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25639, only requires the death of 184 or so creatures in Nagrand :D ( It is a bit fast though)
