Bid on Black Market AH - my gold "disappeared"?

Bugged? Two days ago I made my very first bid on the BMAH, some 1100 gold for a Brawler's Pass. Today in the AH, I see no item with my bid on it. I have not received a pass, or any message I was outbid, nor did I get my bid sent back. I'm confused. Where's my gold now? Am I missing something about the process? Or is this a case for the GM?

I would put in a ticket. I've placed several bids (been outbid a lot), and always gotten it back in the mail when someone outbid me.
