Best AV Premade Strategy

Hello Guys, I have always wanted to make an AV premade. I have Enabler, but not my own vent channel. I would like advice on the best grouping strategy, as a example "Group 1-2 Bal then O", something like that for all 8 teams that would reap the most honor the fastest. I was also wondering how to get your own ventrilo server. Any extra advice would be extremely appreciated!

I was under the impression, however, that it is bad to cap SHGY for some reason, I guess it makes them have to spawn right in front of the offense. Is there a reason to do that? 1.2 honor per 40 mins is very nice :P

Well first get a vent server.
Second, AV is not hard to win in. Just use common sense and know the lay of the land so to speak.
Always D at galv first with 15-20 people. Whipe the allaince there and the game is pretty much yours.
After you whipe them on Galv D the choke point between IBGY and IBT. Kill whatever crosses you. It's good to have mages,locks,and hunters here incase you get more coming through than you can handle. never ever D at our RH...who ever started that is an idiot.
If you cap something 2-4 people need to wait with you while it caps.
No more than 5-7 people on balinda. Have the whole Offense go in there is totally short bus. By the time Sh gy is capped the alliance should be coming back down. So just continue to kill them and push them back.
Once IWB and Bal are capped/dead Start pushing them back to SPGY, once that caps your next target is DBNB and DBSB. If you can get in those and hold them you pretty much have won. Having those archers gone helps a ton.
You also need to understand that for horde to win in Av, and by win i mean a toal no cap for the alliance. It has to be a long game. Which if you pull it off and they dont cap anything or kill galv. It's 650 honor plus honor kills. I was getting about 1.2k honor a 40 min.
Are we talking something like 30 min games?
Get 20 people to AS asap. Get 1 group at IW and another at SH bunkers.
10 people should take out Balinda and go south to retake the towers.
That is as simple as it gets, and ive won numberous AV premades because of it.

Group 1-2: Go to Aid Station flag ASAP and cap, kill npcs if there is no Alliance resistance.
(If there isn't much Alliance resistance, a couple people can go capture Stormpike graveyard AFTER all of Dun Baldar is secured.
Group 3: Dun Baldar North bunker - cap AND hold.
Group 4: Dun Baldar South bunker - cap AND hold.
(If there is Alliance resistance in Dun Baldar, G3 and G4 should help eliminate the threat)
Group 5: Icewing bunker - cap AND hold.
Group 6: Stonehearth bunker - cap AND hold.
Group 7-8: Kill Balinda. After Balinda is dead head south as a group and recap Iceblood Tower and Tower Point. From there make the decision whether to continue south and recap the frostwolf towers, or stay near Iceblood/Tower Point and prevent those from getting tagged again by Alliance.
When the bunkers cap that each group is defending, the people from that group should head north to the Aid Station to get ready for Vann. Tank and healer should be prepared to go before the bunkers are finished capping, as to minimize the time spent.
Edit: If you perfect this strategy, you should get ~500 honor per game. Each game should last ~10 minutes.
This is the strategy that is usually used in premades on my server, we win every game in 10 mins OR, we lose in 10 mins with 300+ honor. Though losing is rare.
Beefrocket's strat does work too however, and we use it sometimes. When we do wipe them at Galv and choke IB, we summon Lok...LOL, and it is sooo much fun.

basically it comes down to this :
no forward graveyard = turtle.
turtle + no towers capped = genocide
no wingmen dead = dead tank at boss.
Correct me if I am wrong, but every av i have been in that took care of these issues in that order has won inside of 15-20min.

IBT - iceblood tower
IBGY - iceblood graveyard
TP - tower point
SPGY - stormpike graveyard
AS - aid station
N&S - north and south bunker
/bg Groups 1-5 Bal--> Recap IBT/TP
/bg Group 6 Bal --- >SPGY --> Van
/bg Group 7 SHB-->Van
/bg Group 8 IWB-->Van
/bg Group 1-6 Rogues/Druids --> AS/N&S
/bg Release all horde wingcomander, kill all alliance ones
/bg NEVER CAP SNOWFALL GY OR STONEHEARTH GY

Doesn't work in my battle group either... Common Horde strat in Ruin is to have all 40 people rush Van. Cap the graveyard right at the entrance, and the towers in front of his place. Completely ignore Bal and the first two towers. Even with 3 marshals up, Van is a pushover with a half decent tank and healer... AV games are normally over in less than 10 minutes.
