Linmarion fired down to his foot, the bullets cutting through the roots.

The figure dropped down onto the ground and made his way into Shatterspear, oblivious to all the carnage around him.

As one root broke other's took it's place wrapping quickly around the elf. "You'll die now." She said as the root's began to tighten around him.

The elf tried to speak, but the dagger had torn her vocal chords and she began to choke on her own blood as it poured from her jugular. Her last thought was
'Damned scum, I will make sure you won't get my corpse for your perverse purposes...'
before plunging her dagger into the first piece of Base's flesh it made contact with, the world around her going black as pain sunk in and death began to embrace her. She shuddered on the floor, and then fell still and limp.

The figure, concealed in a cloak, shot an arrow right at Linmarion's leg, cutting through the roots as it approached Mishrana.

She saw the stranger. "No one shall stop me from avenging my dead sisters!" She roared as she charged at him not thinking.

In the blink of an eye, the figure had grabbed Mishrana by the neck, and was applying pressure. The hood slowly dropped from his head, revealing his identity.
"Armanion?" gasped Linmarion.
"It's been decades, brother." came the reply, the other's face without expression.
"I thought you were dead..."

Base grunted with pain and pulled the dagger from his leg, leaving it with the druid on the ground.
"Now..." he muttered, limping back into the battlefield. "To finish this..."
Character: Taelani
Location: Darkshore
Taelani looked around. They'd gotten most of the village, but she knew there were still some left.
She spied a female figure across the field, wearing what appeared to be very old armor.
"Joo tink ya can take da Shatterspear?" the figure called out. "We come frum da mighteh Gurubashi tribe. Ah people be olda den de forest!" she growled, banging a razor sharp axe against a shield with a a snake motif on it. "Come, test ya might against da ancient troll!"

Armanion hesitated slightly, before letting Mishrana drop to the floor.
"Go." he said. "And don't let me see you here ever again, or you

be sorry for it." snarled the elf, gripping the Hellreaver tightly.

He had sat there crying to long now. He stood up, tears still running down his face. "I can not let this continue." He said walking into the fighting and doing what he could to try and break it up.

Linmarion turned around to face Taelani. Armanion looked at the same night elf, and recognised her as one of the leaders of the raid.
They slowly paced towards her, weapons in hand.

Taelani gleefully threw herself at the new troll, sending a torrent of flaming arrows as she ran. The troll deflected them off her shield and met the elf, bashing the priestess across the face with the metal shield.
Taelani winced, but renewed her attack. She brought he dagger down hard, but it glanced off the troll's armor.
The troll laughed and brought the axe down against the elf's leg armor, splitting it and digging into the flesh.
Taelani gasped with pain, and realized she needed a new strategy. The troll was heavily armored, but slow. She danced around behind the armored woman, finally kicking the troll in the back of the knee, grinning as the troll collapsed.

Tza, Zala & Zane

As much as she didn't want to, Tza'tali had fled, taking Zi'kumi, Zala and Zane with her while Praey and Kuno both stayed back to fight. They were hiding in a makeshift shelter that the earth had created for them at Tza's desperate request, and other refugees were with them. Frosthorn and Zi's raptor were curled around the trolls, providing them more comfort.They could still hear screams from the village, and Zala and Zane kept wincing.
"It's gunna be okay," she promised, cradling the two children snugly against her chest. The four of them looked like a wild mess, their bodies caked with dirt, sweat and blood that they couldn't avoid while they were fleeing.
"Mama?" Zane said quietly, looking down at his raptor toy. Tza'tali sighed, kissing him on the forehead. She was worried, but she knew that both Praey and Kuno could hold their own. "Mama will be okay, I promise. The bad people will be gone soon, and then we will go back to see Mama."
Tza slowly took out a water skin she had managed to grab in the panic. She took a small sip, allowed Zane and Zala to each have one, and then passed it to Zi.
Praey & Kuno

Praey sat atop Apocalypse further back, her body transparent and cracking with shadow energy as she muttered spell after spell, causing members of the raiding party to shrivel in pain. Apocalypse hissed and growled, slashing with his beak and claws anyone who managed to break past the front lines.
Kuno growled deep in his throat as he swung his axe, cleaving a night elf almost in half as it slid through with a gross slopping noise. He was in war mode now, standing at the front lines as they worked to push back what was left of the enemy and kill whoever refused to retreat. Purple and Quake were both fighting as his sides, scratching and biting and snarling. The troll let out another war cry as he continued to fight.

Mary felt her way through the forest, navigating by sound and touch, trying to find somewhere safe. Finally she found what she thought to be a good hiding spot, under the thick roots of a tree, and hid.
Character: Zi'kumi
Location: Darkshore
Zi'kumi nodded and took a small sip of the water skin, before passing it on. She wanted answers. She wanted to cry. But she knew that if she couldn't hold herself together, she could upset the little ones even further.
"It's going to be alright..." she whispered, both to the young ones and to herself. "Just breathe..."

Location: Darkshore
Base limped back towards the raiding party, which was happily in the process of killing anyone they could find. Even the men were killed whn they were forced to fight three or four people each. He did his best to help them with throwing knives or even his daggers, but his first priority was to find his mate.
Character: Taelani
Location: Darkshore
Taelani kicked over the troll woman, pressing her foot down squarely on the armored warrior's back.
"No one is greater than the elves!" the priestess screamed, grinning as she licked the blood from her combat knife. Finally, she dug the knife under the joints of the armor, into the troll's side, smiling madly at the woman's cries.
When the woman went still Taelani smiled and nodded.'
"Burn the bodies!" she commanded. "They hate that!"
Base saw the fight, and instantly recognized Una. His limp turned into a sprint, and finally he tackled the priestess, who, in her blood frenzy, barely even saw him coming.
He caught her by the hair and punched her in the throat. She was stunned, and tried to stand, but he kicked her back down again.
Base said nothing as he steped onto the elf's chest, applying pressure to her brittle sternum. Taelani stabbed at his already bloody leg, but he caught the knife by the blade, wrenched it away and threw it aside. The elf gasped for breath as her lungs were crushed, but suddenly, Base heard something.
Una Ji'ro gasped.
Base instantly ran to her side, stripping off her armor and examining her wounds. She had suffered several stab wounds, but he could stop the bleeding. Immediately he was applying bandages and salves.
Taelani wanted to get up, but couldn't. She'd pushed herself to the very limit, and now her body refused her commands.

Moraash walked into the center of the battle. He stood there for a moment. Then he called upon the wind and earth to aid him. He asked the earth to shake enough to stop the fighters in the area, and air to carry his cry to the far edges of the battle. Both agreed. The earth shook and Moraash shouted. "ENOUGH! There shall be no more death here!" The earth quaked more and more knocking everyone off there feet.

Tza, Zala & Zane

Tza smiled sympathetically and reached out to grab Zi's hand, squeezing it reassuringly as her motherly instinct took over. Zane yawned. "I tired Aunty Tza.." he mumbled, rubbing his eyes and yawning. Zala nodded "Me too," she whispered.
The shaman nodded, slipping the children off her lap and taking her cloak off. She she shimmied her long kilt off as well, leaving only her undergarments and wrap on. She lay the kilt down on the dirt floor, next to Frosthorn. "Here, lay on this.. it's not much, but it should keep you warm.." she said quietly. Zane and Zala cuddled up on the kilt using the rams side as a pillow, and Tza'tali draped her cloak over them. She kissed them each on the forehead. "Try to sleep, everything will be better in the morning."
She shifted and sat next to Zi'kumi, trying to ignore the sounds of the screaming. "They will be okay," she said quietly to Zi'kumi, grabbing her hand and squeezing. "We will be okay." She took a deep breath, her heart aching as she thought of Garos and her family.
Praey & Kuno
Darkshore
"Wha' da hell!" Praey muttered as her thoughts were pulled away from her spells and to the trembling ground. She glanced around and Apocalypse shifted, trying to keep his balance.
Kuno grunted, struggling to keep his footing on the shaking ground and parry attacks at the same time. "What da ^&*! is goin' on.." he muttered, hearing someone yelling something but too busy to pay attention.

"Tanks..." Zi'kumi whispered, blinking away tears. "Ah jus' dunna undastand it..." she whimpered, shaking her head.

Moraash saw that everyone was still fighting. He scowled and asked earth to split up battles with small stone walls between them. It kindly obliged shooting small walls of rock between each fighter. "Stop fighting! These fights are pointless." He shouted again air taking his voice to the edges of the battle field. "What reason is there to fight? Will fighting and killing bring back the dead? NO! What has been done here is a tragedy, that could have easily been avoided had some not let there lust for blood overwhelm them."

Linmarion stepped to stand right above Taelani, a look of hate on his face. "May the Goddess damn you." he said, spitting onto her and raising the Hellreaver. "You savage monstrosity."
Armanion said nothing, but also raise his weapon.
Character : Garnex / Lanrin
Location : Darkshore
Garnex saw the scene; the three night elves, one of them on the ground and Base trying to heal his mate.
"Ah think ah can help." said the shaman, kneeling down besides Una as his hands began to glow with healing powers.
Lanrin was following a human girl who looked lost. He had lost her for some time, but then found her under the roots of a tree.
"What are you doing here? Why didn't you evacuate with the others?" he demanded.
