Yes and no. There are other classes who can provide that same debuff, and if one of them isn't present then yes. If one of them is, then no. But in 4.0.6 (which I hear a rumor is coming out this week) Inicinerate procs that talent as well, so it's a moot point really.

for specifics you really need to be simming your own character. it's quite easy to do and details can be found in the simcraft sticky on the main warlock forum page.
reforging is cheap but i would suggest holding off doing anything more drastic/expensive than that until after the patch.

no, don't expect that.
demo uses SBs for the damage not for the debuff.
SB does more than incinerate unless molten core is active, meanwhile corruption really isn't the spell it once was and takes three talent points for a smaller buff than immolate receives from two. with no synergy in the demo tree any more, corruption is only cast for its reasonable DPET. swapping those talents is worth simming to check but don't expect it to produce a DPS increase when bane essentially increases SB's DPS by 20%
