Why do people always use this as proof of no patch. im not saying that the patch is coming tomorrow, but i have actually played on the ptr while the realms were down for patching, so it really means nothing that its still up

Mainly because new crap is still being added into the PTR currently; such as
this newest gemstone.

I know I've never seen a patch fall right after new stuff goes on ptr...I won't say it has't happened but people are just going off of what we've seen over and over and that is that the ptr tends to be either down or has had no updates in a while when a patch hits. I'd guess another week or 2 before the patch, that is though, just my guess :)
