Oh, well Funimation also did a dub version of OP. I thought they had done a censored version for CN. I know they are showing OP on Toonami, and I'm sure they haven't censored it any. They're showing Uncut Naruto, which just means they actually show blood? Not really sure why they added the Uncut.
I'm not sure if they did the kind of censoring Adamsm mentioned when doing the DBZ Kai.

eh, each to their own. I guess I prefer it because I love the Japanese language.
Also means I can watch any anime that's aired rather than wait years to see if they're going to dub it.

There's this too; so much anime never makes it across the ocean, so if you want to see the good stuff, you need to get the subbed versions.
I haven't watched Kai, so I have no idea if it's still censored or not; all I know about Kai is that they removed the filler episodes.

Like I said, I'm watching a subbed show right now because nobody's dubbed it yet. However, I still prefer the dubs.
And I also don't particularly like the Japanese language, at least spoken.

Assuming they're of equal quality I prefer dubs, but I can't deny that most subs have superior acting, and more importantly, capture the original context of the lines better.

I'm waiting for fansubs. One question I have though, do we get to see Guts suit up as the Black Swordsman? Also how messed up is the eclipse?

The Eclipse is going to go down as one of the most brutal (and probably heavily censored) scenes in anime history. The rape scene is
slightly
less graphic than the manga, but the rest of it, the deaths and gore and Guts' mutilation are exactly consistent with the way Miura drew them.
You do get to see the Black Swordsman after the credits, but I wasn't too pleased by it. The movie itself ended with the Skull Knights and Guts fighting the spirits, then it skips to Guts becoming the Black Swordsman. This means that they completely skipped both Guts killing his first apostle with the Dragonslayer, and the birth of the demon baby.

I'm a little pissed that they skipped the scene where he rescues Rickert from the Count and Rosine, but the scenes they kept are pretty memorable. The part where he jumps into the Eclipse, slashes up a bunch of apostles and bum rushes Void is one of the most badass scenes in the anime so far.
Then again everything the Skull Knight does is badass...

PFFFFFFFT that %^&* was planned. Void used the same trick to deflect his blade during the Eclipse, SK wouldn't fall for the same thing twice. He probably planned that to get the rest of the God Hand, most specifically Void, into the physical world.

Makes sense. The Skull Knight's been there more or less every other time Guts has needed him. His foresight should be at least up to par with the Godhand. Maybe we'll know eventually assuming Miura doesn't die before he finishes the manga...
