Supposing that you have to stack a 2x shadow embrace:
SB -> Haunt -> Corru -> UA -> Immo -> CoA -> Sili -> SB filler
repeat and /laugh @ fg/ember 3-keys users :)

The rotation takes some getting used to. A lil while back, i was specced the fel guard/ruin build or whatever, and was only able to pull 2k dps MAX on Patchwork, now with affliction, im able to pull 3200 dps before he drops.

People who SB early just for shadow embrace confuse me. What is the point of casting to boost your dots if you don't even have dots on the mob? I would say that you should Haunt > UA > Corr > CoA or CotE > SL and then you can SB or even almost haunt again.
Haunt already gives you 20% more dmg 25% with 1 stack of Shadow Embrace, it's much more effecient to load your dots up after that then wasting time to get just another 5%.

no time wasted. SB does good damage.
in the first 20 seconds of your rotation you're going to have to cast the exact same spells so one version has one stack of SE up and the other has 2 stacks. simple as that.
...and 5% is a lot

that's not a great rotation. immolate should be in every boss rotation and all your buffs should be up before you start... as is being discussed above.
CoE is covered by moonkin and unholyDK so only use it if you're in a raid and only when neither other class is present.
no, CoE will not make a boss drop 2 mins quicker.
15 in demo is a big mistake. bane and ruin are massively important as is cataclysm for the non hit-capped.

in an ideal rotation this won't occur much. if you find that this happens regulatly then you ought to change up your rotation to prevent it.
of course, not all situations are ideal and in that case it's not going to make a huge difference but you should cast the spell with the higher DPS (not necessarily DPCT in this case) first.
this would go something like:
Corr > UA > immo > CoA > SiLi
corruption should never drop anyway but make it a priority if it does drop off. immo and UA should always be cast together which really only leaves CoA and SiLi to juggle into your rotation.

immo should _always_ be cast and always with UA.
if a DoT hasn't completed then don't recast. _always_ cast SB and then reapply the DoT.
this is true even if the DoT has 0.2 seconds until it finishes (moreso in fact).
example:
corruption ticks every 3 seconds and the final tick occurs as the DoT fades from the target. if you were to recast corruption at 0.2 seconds before it finished then you would lose 1/6th of the spells damage AND there would be no corruption tick for almost 6 seconds. cast an SB and you get the damage from the SB, the final tick and lose less uptime overall.
this can't be stressed enough.
never reapply a DoT before it has completed
the only caveat to this might be a phase with a lot of movement you might want to reapply your instants while on the move, giving you more time once you get to stand still... even this is possibly a bad idea.
