I read on the patch notes that certain mount will not be account bound like most others.
If I remember correctly, the Traveler's Tundra Mount will be available all throughout your account, my question is this:
If I buy the Tundra Mount on my Blood Elf Paladin, will I be able to use it on my Human paladin on another server? Even though the mount says it is faction specific? Or do I need to buy the mount on my Night Elf?

The Tundra and others like it, even though they have a race specific on it, are still shared across factions.
But mounts such as the Sunreaver Dragonhawk and Silver Covenant Hippogryph or the actual faction race mounts, are not shared.

The Tundra faction mammoths have different item IDs--they're not shared :( Logged in an alt to check.

FOund that out last nught. I am hoping that they will fix it based on an earlier blue post that said they would be account wide.
I put this in one of the o forum threads earlier today:
That just plain blows chunks. I was wondering what went on as most of my mounts transferred between my toons, but the biggest I was looking forward to was the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth on my newer horde toons on a different server than all my alliance toons. I logged back and forth and no Mammoth on the hordies

Well, they already ARE account wide- it's just a different mount. All of your racial and faction specific mounts are account wide too- they just still abide by the faction requirements.
Granted, I think it should go cross faction. But I don't think the blue post saying it will be account bound means that it will.

Thank you all for the answers I was looking for. I will jut make sure to buy it on my Night Elf Druid instead of my Blood Elf.
The only thing I was worried about was how much money I would lose thru the neutral AH. If I'm correct, the regular faction based auction house takes 5% of your gold from the sold item, what is the percentage of gold taken from the neutral AH?

I am having a bug with both the travellers tundra mount and the X-53 Touring Rocket in that they wont allow passengers to board. My party member gets the green arrow indicating they can jump aboard but it refuses to let them.
