"The Dragonmaw orcs have been busy trying to survive, and I want to start selling weapons to them," Ebon replied. "I have attempted to open trade with them for some time but my efforts have not been going well. I would like you to deffend them for a few weeks as my show of good intention towards them. Despite whatever moral obligation against them you have, I can eaisly pay you to make it worth your while."

It really dosn't matter whom, just make sure they come to no harm and I will pay you - regardless of wether or not my negotiations are a success because of it. Maybe I'll even give you a cut of the first profits from my sales." Ebon looked as Kassanzi. "You're welcome to join in on this deal as well, Miss Sandstone. If memory serves you are a mercinary as well."

"Mayhaps, but it does not reap rewards of great value," Ebon pointed out. "Black dragon scales. While I am sure you could easily kill a dragon to gather them for yourself, imagine not having to lift a finger other than to sign a buisness transaction and have a crate of unbattered, undamaged scale appear at your house within the week."

"Indeed," Khaz said, rubbing a hand along his dragonskin belt absently. "But I'm not too sure. Legally, we've signed a long term contract to agree to fight Ironforge's enemies, lasting for another year. I'm not exactly sure how these would mesh."

"You wont have to worry about any laws once they've finished tampering with the records, leaving you free to do as you wish for the next few months - plenty of time for you to finish up this job I'm offering you."

Funden pulled Khaz outside. "Ye can't seriously be considerin' this," he said queitly, but angrily.
"It's for the good of the team. We need more revenue besides what Ironforge is giving us if we want to remain at peak capacity," Khaz replied flatly.
"We don't need it from them! Light above, Khaz, they're gangsters!"
Khaz frowned but didn't say anything. Technically, Funden was the head of the team, although Khaz often made decisions. If Funden put his foot down, that was that.

Gunter mused loudly, drowning out the churchgoers hissing in an attempt to silence him.
