"Indeed," Curho said with a nod. "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and the Satyrs have only proven themselves to be such a link. So long as they're gone and our more valuage allies are not, we may have a chance. As for rising up, I intend to. Old and foolish he may be, Fel'dan is still a more powerful warlock. Maybe one day I will set out and try to find something of power, something we can use, amongst the shadows of this world?"
The warlock shrugged, peering into the distance. "Hmmm, I wonder if the group attacking the Satyrs will be expecting a counter attack. Or do you think they're antcipating us to be lax and ignore the plight of our allies as we have done in the past?"

Location: Scarlet Monostary, Tirisfal Glades
The chains wrapped around Amanda's limbs, forcing her to the ground and burning her. Urdish's attack, however, was deflected by a shield of shadow that formed around him. "Through my compassion for my people, the Forsaken will stay strong," she said through gritted teeth. Shadow began to burn over the chains, reinforcing them but giving Amanda a slight advantage - it being her spell. She pulled on them as they wrapped around their original caster, attempting to force Urdish down while again conjuring more spears to pin him to the earth through his stomach. "Through all of these, I will become Death."

"Either way, we'll crush them." Curho cracked his neck and peered ahead again. Still no sign of their enemies, and if they were walking into a trap he would make sure those attacking the Legion's holdings in Felwood would pay for making a fool out of him.

"And yet you use the devine of the Light against your enemies when it is best," Amanda pointed out, conjuring a shield. "I see not power, but irony in that." As Urdish cast the spell she formed the box-like protection spell, but not around her; around Urdish. Boxing him in with his own attack.

Faust let loose a dark chuckle. "Now? Well, your sons fate is in yours hands once more." He answered simply, retrieving pen and scroll and pressing the pocket watch into James's hand. "So long as you place a drop of his blood within this watch and ensure it does not cease ticking your sons disease shall halt. And one day, perhaps today, perhaps tomorrow, I will ask for repayment."
"Until then however," Faust finished lazily, scroll disappearing in a puff of smoke and pen returning to a sleeve, "your life is yours and your sons as well. Live as you will once your son's bedridden state is cured, that is all I can advise." The man doffed his hat once more with a sly grin, rising from the chair.
"And now I am off to lift up the weak and wretched once more. If you have any concerns, troubles or the like please do not hesitate calling me, I'll see if I have the time to assist you. Good day." With that Faust let loose one last grin and departed the home in a flurry of black cloth and tailcoats, striding out the door and closing it behind him.

Undercity
Deep in the bowels of the Undercity a large music hall sat. Though the outside was coated in dust and cobwebs the inside was well lit by candles and the like, casting an eery glow on the large organ sitting in the center of the stage. The seats before the stage were empty, but on the platform two figures stood, one shrouded in shadow and the other sitting on a small bench before the keys.
Ludwig, now wearing a massive powdered wig, ran a bony hand over the keys reverently. "Beautiful isn't it, the Organ of Requiem's Souls is truly a marvel." He cooed affectionately, a pair of round mirrored glasses perched on what remained of his nose bobbing as he nodded to himself.
"Indeed sir." Damon replied automatically. Ludwig chuckled and cracked his fingers.
"First movement." With that his bony fingers flew over the keys, the instrument beginning a low and haunting melody that seemed to permeate the whole of the Undercity, though few heard the notes. All however, felt the beat and for a brief moment when the song reached a crescendo nearly every Forsaken in the city felt a tug, as if something was trying to pull them from their bodies. It lasted but a second, leaving most to wonder if anything had happened at all but most glanced about fearfully, unsure what to make of the alien sensation.
Ludwig ceased playing with a final note, a slight frown on his face. "How odd, it was supposed to summon the souls of heroes past with that song. Could you imagine if it had though Damon?" Ludwig asked, turning his eyes to the shadow priest.
"Oh yes sir."
"We could summon a chorus anywhere we wanted." Ludwig gleefully cried. Damon lost most of his smile.
"Yes sir... Perhaps we should hide the organ for now though, that pull was likely to have drawn some attention." The shadow priest ventured. Ludwig frowned at that.
"... No, no. I need to try and get a better feel for it. You keep watch at the entrance though, fetch me if someone comes." Damon bowed at the order, drifting from the stage as Ludwig began to play another piece on the instrument, though not the same song as before.

Wilhelm took a large bite of one of the sandwiches, making a pause in his work once he had calculated the location of the second - or, to be precise, the first tome, since Curho had a second part of the trilogy in his possession.
"A little to the north-west of the Sunken Temple," Meyer chuckled. He wondered if Curho required his assistance in dealing with the dragons.

Eventually, the snows gave way to the green lushness of the great Loch. The sun had begun to set by the time they passed through the mountain range separating the two lands. "Shall we stop in Thelsamar?" Funden asked. "And then start off in the morning?"
