I like the fact that we can already see the choices we have in front of us as boomkins and all of the choices so far are viable and yet each one will play inherently differently in terms of the utility they bring :P
It's honestly quite exciting to see. I know there does not seem to be a whole lot of choices, but those extra few points placed as you want really do change things significantly, for the boomkin at least.
For the others out there who hated the previous trees... I direct you to this tree and once again affirm my faith that Blizz is not going to borking things as badly as all of you preaching 'The Cataclysm'. Instead join me in preaching for 'Cataclysm'!

Still not totally convinced about the feral tree.
Talent Build sans le glyphs
This is my take on it but Im more than open to interpretation.
Reading everyone elses I think the "basic" theme for the feral build is there but I can count at least 3-4 points where im not really sure what Im doing with them.
Improved Feral Charge being one and Brutal Impant being the other. Being able to insta crit above 90% health mobs will be handy for trash and/or one shotting things, but in raid environments? You might get two off but why bother?
Editx2:
As an aside, this talent tree looks suspiciously "hybrid" in that you can select every DPS talent for cats, and still pick up 2 of the major bear talents ... I know that is a slight amount of deviation, maybe 2 talents that are strictly bear or cat orientated, but the feeling of a homogenised feral tree is startling :S
Hmm, shouldnt Blessing of the Grove have Maul in its list of improved damage abilities? Take out Claw obviously and replace as necessary. And Feral Aggression doesnt seem finished since rank 1 is totally different to rank 2.

Things are still really
sucky
dull for ex-trees.
Are you still ticked off trees don't get another healing spell? If so, I really don't know what kind of spell that would be. We kind of have everything already, so it would only be a variation of some existing spell...
Uh, no. I'm quite happy we're not getting any new spells, and always have been.
I'm not particularly happy that there are three talents for a total of 6 points (out of 10 required) in the first two tiers of Resto that actually, you know, do
anything
for resto druids.
I'm also fairly unhappy that they've been shifting things around in balance making it a lot less appealing as a Resto subspec. Not to mention that the first two tiers of Balance have more useful talents for Resto Druids than the first two tiers of Resto. Nature's Grace (3, assuming it stays), Nature's Majesty (2), Genesis (3) and Moonglow (3) are all straight up useful to Resto druids (four talents, 11 points), while Balance of Power has some situational use.
Honestly, looking at it, moving one of those talents (Genesis or Moonglow probably make the most sense thematically) to the first two tiers of Resto would go a long way to fixing my issues with the current talent options for Resto druids.

Masteries were re-announced too.
I've got to say, if things keep going like they're going I'm going healing on my Paladin instead of my Druid.
6% of all heals as a shield (i.e. Free Vala'nyr) vs. up to 20% extra healing from my HoTs
if
my target has low health?
Honestly, if they're trying to get us to expand our toolbox and use more than just our HoTs, why does our mastery only affect HoTs?

Feral tree is still strange.
Bear are pretty much forced to spend alot of unneccecary talents in the resto-tree to get 6% reduced damage from magic, and 2% extra damage... that is so not worth it to me, I dont think NSS and Furor brings anough for it to be worth it.

Druid already has a well-filled toolbox, so there isn't really a need to make a lot of exciting changes to the class.
Not really. We have plenty of spells and didn't need to get more added. I'm right there on that particular note. But that doesn't mean that they don't need to make any changes or spice things up at all. For us to have a well filled toolbox, they need to make all the spells we have interesting and useful.
And paladins got more than a couple extra spells. Which was where they were lacking. They already had plenty of interesting things to do, it was just that they did it all with only three healing spells. Shields, beacons, hands, auras, DI, AM, etc. etc. Paladins have a lot of stuff, right now. And they're getting a lot more.
Heck, they're getting a whole new mechanic.
I really am hoping that we're going to see some cool new stuff, but right now we've got 45s of instant regrowths and regrowths that splash heal people when they crit (i.e. Ancestral Awakening for one spell). So far that's all the interesting stuff we've gotten.

Just FYI, LotP healing is overpowered atm. I finish each fight at 100% even against 2 mobs or against 10 mobs in direct sequence (the respawn timers at some locations are still quite messed up).
ROFLMAO!
...
Are you serious o0

No I was being sarcastic, I really doubt they will nerf LotP just because it so happens to be "op" for quest grinding, when at level 85 and bosses are hitting you for XXXXX a hit, that piddly little 6-7k every 6 seconds is going to be earthshatteringly imbalanced.

Given that ILotP is a %, and HP bars are going to skyrocket I would expect it to be lowered a bit. I was actually afraid that they were dropping it completely, which would kill soloing old instances (atleast make it much more painful then today).
