2H weapons on hunter

Just curious as to what you guys think. I see alot of hunters running around with polearms and stuff. I personally i have been using dual wield axe and sword. Are 2Hs good on hunters?

2h Weapons give out better Raptor Strikes (should the need arise). Also, the stats that they give tend to be slightly better than two 1h weapons.

I made a few on my BS as I skilled up some. It's a great easy to get item and can probably find one on the AH pretty cheap. I had gotten a few blues from quest rewards like the Ring of Blood in Nagrand and this was still better. I think that when I finally get to 70 on my Hunter I'll farm SLs for the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27903.

The one big advantage with two 1h weapons is that if they both have good agil stats you can get EACH enchanted to add a bigger boost. But this is often taken into consideration when 2h weapons are made.

Some of the early lvl 70 melee wepons that provide awesome stats are the sonic spear or legacy. The Vengeful Gladiator Waraxe is probably the one among these three which will provide the most damage and it is ^&*! easy to get. Legacy and sonic spear might provide some other stats that will enhance ur character in other ways like the legacy mana regen.

Just go for what ever gives you best stats.

I'd reccomend duel weilding because 20agi x2 is more than the 35 agi you can get on a 2hander.

Also if you're MM you can get 30int x2 Which = 30ap and 1k mana+

But in the end it's got a lot to do with personal preference.
