When i was trying to get badges, i would average between 15-20 a day.

you get 22 badges from a full KZ clear each week, which even pugs can
do now a days.

so lets say you do 15 badges a day, and 22 badges one day from a full
KZ clear. Thats 112 badges a week. You could have all the new 2.4
heroic badge loot and fill in the rest with the old ZA/T5 equivilant badge
loot in around 2 months.

Its definately a lot of work, but very do-able. And would take much less
time than getting that much loot from raiding where you have to compete
against other people for drops.

Me personally, i already have all my ZA/T5 equivolant prot badge loot.
took me around 325 badges i think. Spent another 100 badges on FR
gear, which i might add, i never use. And since then ive spent another
135 badges on Fury gear for when i need to dps for certain boss's.

Theres still fury gear i want to get that the new 2.4 gear isnt going to cover,
so i'll keep spending my badges till the patch is actually released. I may
or may not have my current badge loot gear purchased before then, but
i'm going to want it eventually either way. So i'm not really loosing anything.

15 badges per day from heroics, plus 22 badges from a
kara clear would leave you with 127 badges per week. That is if
we're using the gregorian calander still with 7 day weeks. If we arn't,
noone has told me.

1 day to do KZ = 22 badges
6 days to do heroics @ 15 badges per day = 90 badges

Total: 7 days, and 112 heroic badges.

A full KZ clear is going to take up pretty much your entire days worth of game play. I am of course assuming you have a life outside of wow, and you dont play more than 6 hours a day. For the record, my group always clears KZ in around 3 hours. But i'm assuming your pugging it, which always takes longer.

You'd need to do at least 4 heroics a day to get 15 badges. Best ones to do are Botanica (5), Mech (4), Underbog (4), and then id suggest your fourth be the heroic daily, which will always be at least 4, and usually 5.

I will typically run multiple heroics with the same people, especially if it goes really well. Ive found if you clear a heroic quickly with no wipes, people are very inclined to stick around for a second heroic. Which cuts down on party formation time. Most heroics take around 1 hour to clear. Some a little more, some a little less. Your looking at around 5-6 hours of gameplay a day. Which is about as long as your KZ raid.

So lets say your just startin out on all this, and its 6 hours a day every day. So 42 hours a week.

I have work, i have a wife. I am able to make time for both and still play at least 4 hours a day, and you can make up time on like the weekend. Its very do-able, while still maintaining a social life. Also, the more you do it, and the longer your friends list gets with skilled and geared players, the less time it will take to clear heroics and KZ.

Me personally, i ENJOY running heroics. I wish i didnt need a guild at all, and i could just whisper friends from my friends list every day, and run nothing but 5mans and get T6 gear. So for me, its not really a grind. Its more like *GASP* having fun.
